Btw: there's no english version of most of these games, dude. Most are played in plain japanese.

At Ray's board there have been several people asking for ROMs recently. I decided to see how long it would take me to find one, for ammunition to throw at them.

What I didn't expect, however, was to get a working link:

It's all a matter of knowing what to search for, and how to format it.

It's not that hard if you know where to search. I have to agree with superbus about the porn site crap. It annoys me to no end. Plus, once you enter, zillions of pop ups will appear. It's still not that hard to find though.

You didn't search well, then. Remember the names:

FE Gaiden (2) (NES)
FE Monsyo no Nazo / Mystery of the Emblem (3) (SNES, includes FE1)
FE Seisen no Keifu (4) (SNES)
FE Thracia 776 (5) (SNES)
FE Fuuin no Tsurugi / Sword of Seals / Sealed Sword (6) (GBA)

All these are in japanese. There's a decent translation patch for FE 2, and incomplete ones for FE3 and FE4 (www.zophar.net).

FE 7 (Rekka no Ken) is just Fire Emblem here. No number, no subtitle.

Searching for roms is tricky, I admit. But you must. There are techniques for it. Just typing "Fire Emblem rom" won't be enough. Good luck.

But you have 2 other nice options.

1) Use a sharing program, like e-mule;

Actually, the Top 50 can be used to find a decent download site, but you need to get lucky.
