Maybe the FE7 last boss decided Eliwood had bad odor or something. I'm gonna stay away from it next time and see if it moves. Don't bother wasting your time....I've tried it on all 4 route/modes, I abuse the last 3 chapters save for supports so I spend a near 100 turns on the last chapter and during that time to keep me pre-occupied I constantly every so often provoke it by attacking it with 0 damage characters and running away and it never chases me.

Strange... I thought it'd do a bit better.
But I used Lilina and her ridiculous Magic stat, which was like 30 or something.

Hmm, then maybe I was mistaken about it moving. I know I was caught off guard on my first battle. I figured, "hey I took out those damn morph how much hard could this Mamkute be? I have 4 Legendary weapons and some new toys to test out on it as well. Yan was the toughest I fought and he went down just like that."

Yeah, I kept forgetting his name after beaing his ass too easily. I saved the Sword of Seals especially for him and Idoun.

Because they changed the attack animation for FE7.
And I agree with TF how can you NOT remember Yan? The chest hair!

See Sety, girl dig guys with chest hair. I don't have any I'm happy to say. Yan wasn't too bad for a boss. He has high stats all around and he sits on a throne. Nergal doesn't even have a throne.

Ah I think all the girls love you regardless of the lack of chest hair n_n;;
But I guess the reason most people don't remember Yan is because of the fact all you fought was mamkutes so another mamkute didn't stand out much.
