Well, I've heard that Fire Emblem sold well during the holiday season, chances are high that Nintendo will release another English Fire Emblem, but I'm not 100% confident that FE6 would be released here. Somehow I feel that they'll just go on to FE8...
True, I did notice some faint smiles in FE6, but early in the game when Hector was dying, Roy pretty much looked the same, compare that to say...Eliwood reacting to Ninian's death in FE7. Some visual work has to be done with FE6 to get people to understand the feel of characters and scenes.
When I think about it, we do have valid suggestions to send to Nintendo about FE6, but...they ARE Nintendo, they don't particularly listen to fans (they've been especially mean to Earthbound fans) so we really just have to sit and wait.

The characters in FE7 blink, but not FE6. =P The smiles were a lot more subtle in FE6 for one.
I think FE6 has the best chance of coming here next, given FE7's ending. Besides, for all we know... FE8 might be a GC game and might take a while. =P FE6 will just be easiest for NoA to bring out here is all.
By the way, I really don't think she'll be called Ririna. Considering she's LILINA in FE7's ending.

I'm still skeptical since the game has only been out for a year so if a remake is in hand it'd have to be a direct remake. If they make a full remake the original fans would feel cheated and Ninty will always put their main fans back in the land of the rising sun first. And a direct remake would be a bad idea regardless since its an obvious downgrade.
I'd be happy regardless if they did.

I would like FE6 in english but at the same time I feel sorry for it. It gets the most bashing because it was too simple. Now in America people will probably complain the game doesn't have the bells and whistles that FE7 had.

In response to kyuusei, Intelligent Systems is currently deticated to the GBA, so they won't be planning any GC titles for a while. Besides, Intelligent Systems has been having great success with the handheld as shown through Metroid Fusion, Advance Wars games, and the upcoming Metroid Zero Mission looks fabulous, I think they'll stick with the GBA for a while. FE8 will most certainly be on the GBA, and given the points from Seti, I now feel a better chance that FE8 will be released here next.
I'm not sure if NOA or Intelligent Systems would take the risk of releasing FE6 as is here, because it'll likely get lower scores over FE7 from reviewers and possibly see lower sales...unless if they market it with Roy in mind, but even then, I don't think a SSBM fanbase would help sales that much.

Like I SAID, 'for all we know'. =P Meaning I don't necessarily think it's actually a GC game, it's just possible even though IS prefers GBA at the moment. There's been some discussion of a possiblity of a GC FE... they did almost make a N64 one at one point. FE6 doesn't really need a remake, exactly... just touch-ups, like CG scenes in more than just the ending. And Roy needs a slight personality adjustment. You'd be surprised at how many people would be interesed for the sole fact that Roy's in it... probably won't make it sell that many more copies than FE7, but it'd give some people familiarity. And plus, they can at least bring out FE6 and let people stop wondering about Zephyr and FE7's ending. I really don't think people would hate it as much as you guys think they would. Sure, it's simple, but it's harder, FE7 came with a handholding tutorial and everyone had to deal with that. I heard less complaints about it than expected, really. =P

It's easy to make a few touches to the game, in technical terms. Pehaps add the assasin class (so Chad will rule) a couple items and chests changes, and have some technical thing (like mobile ballistas and graphics)that FE7 has. But keep the hard difficulty, missions, and its objectives so the game is good for a US release.

Dieck should be Dirk imho, but I don't mind Dick at all.
Intelligent Systems, like the company it was spun off from R&D1 doesn't have the horses to make the games on consoles(Paper Mario was an ugly game imho, and I don't believe they made any others for 64 or Cube up). There is a reason the gba is a strategy game developers dream.

Intelligent Systems also released '64 Wars' in Japan to continue the 'Wars' series (every Nintendo console and handheld save the Virtual Boy has a 'Wars' game), but it's often unheard of, and I know little of it.

I heard less complaints about it than expected, really. =P Actually the majority of compaints are people who can't get pass the tutorial chapters and Ch-16....>_> NO! You do not give me any of those crappy mobile Ballistas, I completely hated those! Wasting a whole tunr, I preferred the stationary ones of FE6. Besides why would Chad need to class change? The guy was so strong as a thief he could go toe to toe with a Mamkute.
