Roy's army was in one of the three western islands, called Fibernia. In the south was Caledonia. The northwest one was called Dia. Those are the names of the three. In all of the islands, people had discovered rich mineral deposits. And the area that had the most was in the northern part of Fibernia -- the Eburacum mines. Working off of information from the bandits, Roy's army moved north towards those mines.
During the journey, they had to go by a castle that was in a mountain pass. Roy sent a messenger there to ask permission to pass through. They asked the lord of that castle, Node. Since Roy's army was there on an official request from Etruria, they thought that getting assistance would be easy. But now they realized how mistaken that idea was...
Chapter 10 - The Opposition Force
Node: Hey, do you have that Registans spy? Soldier: You mean that dancer Lalum? She's in the dungeon right now. Node: So, did she say anything? Soldier: She just keeps saying the same thing -- "there must be some kind of mistake".
Node: Does she really think she can talk her way out of this? If that's so, I'll just have to deal with her directly... Soldier: Lord Node! Node: What? Soldier: There's a messenger from the Lycian Alliance. Node: Oh...they're doing that "bandit suppression"... Soldier: They're asking for permission to pass here so that they can get to the northern mines. Node: ...the Lycian Alliance? Lord Alcard's orders said that when they came to Fibernia, we should find a suitable excuse and kill them [I'm not entirely sure about this but it's close]. This is our chance to get on Lord Alcard's good side. Send the troops out and attack them! Soldier: Yes, sir! How about the messenger? Node: Kill him. Soldier: Yes, sir. Node: And then put one of the archers in the Shooter. It's a great weapon that can shoot long-range and will certainly interfere with their movement. Soldier: Yes, sir. Node: Don't let the enemies capture it, though!!
Marinus: Lord Roy! Soldiers are coming out of the castle!! Roy: !? Are there bandits here too? Marinus: No, it appears that they're heading for us. Roy: ...and the messenger? Marinus: Well, he didn't return....so probably..... Roy: What's going on? Why is the lord of this castle attacking us? Marinus: Look, the army is close...what should we do, Lord Roy? Roy: We have to fight. Anyway, if we reach the castle maybe we'll learn what's going on. Marinus: Yes, that sounds good. Roy: All right, everyone! Break through their lines! But avoid fights you won't be able to win.
(After turn 5) Woman: Geese, are you really going? Geese: Yeah, that's where our enemies are [our = geese and the pirates who work for him]. I want to free my workers. Woman: Those people who are always travelling with you? Geese: Yeah. While I was away doing a mission for the Etrurian government, they were taken to the mines and worked until... Woman: ... Geese: They weren't smart, but they were good people. How could they...!! Woman: So you'll fight them all by yourself? Geese: Is that odd? Woman: No, but...are you going to return to the shipping business? Geese: Hmm...I'll think about it once I beat them and the fighting is all over. Woman: All right...we won't forget you. You braved the dangerous seas to bring us all kinds of goods. We're so thankful for what you did. Geese: Thank you very much, ma'am.
(After turn 6) Node: Gonzales! Gonzales, are you here? Gonzales: I...I here... Node: Do you know where that village is that's up north near the mountains? Gonzales: Yeah. Node: It seems that one of the Registans' hiding places is there. Go there and destroy the village. Gonzales: Village... Node: Exactly. Hurry, don't just sit around! For someone like you who can barely do anything, this is the only tim you're useful. Gonzales: I..I... Node: What, do you have some objection? Gonzales: No....not... Node: Hmm, he has a strange kindness that doesn't fit his face. <Maybe he won't go as far as destroying a village.>
(Roy talks to Geese) Geese: Hmm? What do you want? Roy: I just noticed that you were fighting alone against these soldiers from the castle. Geese: You are? Roy: I'm Roy, the leader of the Lycian Alliance army. We're here on the request of Etruria. Geese: Etruria's hand! Then, you're an enemy -- prepare yourselves!! Roy: W..wait! We're also fighting the soldiers from that castle. Geese: ? What's going on? Roy: Actually, we're not sure of the reason. Under an obligation of duty, we came here to supress the bandits... Geese: ...so you said you're fighting the soldiers from the castle. Why don't you hire me. Roy: Huh? Geese: I'm a pirate, so I know this area pretty well. You just came here so you'll need some help finding your way around, right? Roy: That would be nice, but why so sudden? Geese: I want to help exterminate the bandits. Well, I guess since I'm a pirate I get lumped in with them too. But I only go after rich people. Roy: Then, please join us. <We'll certainly need your help on this island.> Geese: Thank you [Roy disappears] Geese: ...Wait for me, my pirate brothers. I'll defeat our enemies. What happens next will be up to Roy.
(Lilina talks to Gonzales) Lilina: Um...wait! Gonzales: W...What you...I'm enemy! Lilina: Sorry, I just want to have a quick word with you. It's because you had such sad eyes... Gonzales: ....You know village, up there by the mountains? Lilina: Yes, I know it. Gonzales: Get the villagers away. I have order. Destroy village, so... Lilina: No, stop! Those are innocent villagers... Gonzales: Can't. Orders are everything. I can't go against them. Lilina: You can't leave people who give you orders like that? Gonzales: Leave? Lilina: Yes. You should fight with us! Protect the people of these islands. Gonzales: ...Can't. I'm a monster. Can't join anyone. The village I born in...people throw rocks at me. "Get out of village", they said. I'm a monster. Not human. Lilina: Don't say that! You're a human. You're a good person, I can see that. You can join us, you don't have to be afraid. Gonzales: Afraid? Me? I not afraid. Not afraid of anything. Everyone afraid of me. ...I'm not afraid! Lilina: No, you are afraid. That people will throw stones at you again, or chase you away. You're like a little bird shivering in its nest. Gonzales: ... Lilina: In this army you won't be treated differently from anyone else. Be courageous -- take the first step forward so that you can have a real life...
(Roy supports Lilina - B) Roy: Lilina! Lilina, come on! Lilina: Ah...Roy? Roy: What's wrong, Lilina? It's not like you to be distracted. We're in a battle -- it's dangerous to get distracted. Lilina: Yes, sorry. Roy: But what's wrong? Lilina: ...it came out of nowhere. Roy: Nowhere? Lilina: These events that nobody dreamed of. Everything that's around me. ...Roy, do you remember the time when you studied in Ostia? Roy: Of course. 2...no, 3 years ago. [3 years have passed since the start of the game? This is an odd line because theoretically this conversation could appear in the final chapter.] Lilina: At that time, both your father and my father were healthy. There was no indication of a big war across Lycia...it's strange, <what you think years ago...> Roy: Lilina... Lilina: Heh heh, I'm being silly. No matter what kind of memories I have, we can't return to that time.
House - "The bandits and pirates -- when they're born they're such cute babies. I'd like to think that if I spoke to them I'd understand..."
Town - "I'm worried -- is Lalum all right? For our sake she brought us weapons from here and there -- we begged her to hide, but that's the kind of person she is. Here's an axe she brought us. It's strong against swords and weak against spears -- a strange axe. But rather than this I'd rather see her dance again..." (Sword Buster)

(When you fight Node) Node: Heh heh...you've arrived. Come on, then, I'll take your lives.
(When you kill Node) Node: Ugh, I'm dying...my life is over...
(After you capture the castle) Marinus: Lord Roy...even now we don't know the reason why that army attacked us. Roy: But that ambush, and now this attack...no matter who they are, there's no denying that they're aiming for us. Marinus: Hmm...we probably need to ask the reason at the Etruria palace. Roy: Perhaps. We're not going to do this bandit suppression any more. I want to talk to Commander Cecilia again. Soldier: Excuse me, but in the castle dungeon we found a young girl. She wants to talk to Lord Roy... Roy: Me? Well, bring her in. Soldier: Yes, sir. Lalum: Are you Lord Roy? You came to do the "bandit suppression"? Roy: That's right. Lalum: Lord Roy, please help! My friends...please help my friends!! Roy: Wah! Marinus: You, girl, get away from Lord Roy! Roy: A...anyway, please calm down a bit. You were talking about your friends? Lalum: I'm Lalum. I'm one of the members of Registans. Roy: The organization that fights the bandits and protects the people of the island, right? Lalum: N...no! Roy: No? Lalum: Well, we do that. But our real enemies are the lords from Etruria who are protecting the bandits! Roy: What! Are you serious!? Lalum: The lords here bring people to the mines and work them until they die! Even if they are wounded, or sick -- they are made to work without any rest. Roy: ...that's terrible... Lalum: So that's why we fight!! This time we plan to go north and rescue the people from the Ebracum mines!! Roy: Hey, please calm down! Lalum: Someone must have leaked the plan! I knew the villagers were scared, but to talk about that...if I don't tell everyone, then....! Ekidona will....!! Roy: All right, let's go north to the mines. We'll save Registrans and the people forced to work in the mines. [Lalum moves close to Roy again] Lalum: Really!? Great! Thank you, Lord Roy! Roy: Wah! H...hold on, Lalum Marinus: Hey, girl! Didn't I tell you to get away from Roy! Lalum: Lord Roy, here! Use this sword. Roy: What is this sword? Laluma: I was keeping this sword for our leader, Ekidona, in order to help Registrans. I don't think Ekidona would mind if Lord Roy's army used it. It's called "Dragon Killer", but there aren't really any dragons. I imagine it would be strong against Dragon Knights, though. But I don't know for sure. (Dragon Killer received)

Chapter 11 a
In the castle, the girl Lalum of Registans told Roy an unbelievable story. Roy immediately dispatched a letter to Cecilia, talking about the sad situation in the Ebracum mines, and they inquired as to how they should deal with the situation. Then, they proceeded to Ebracum to help Registans and the people working in the mines.
There, an Elminu order priest had been set up as governer in order to help the people who were suffering under forced labor. Etruria had made that decision, but in fact that goal was not realized.
The mines of death, Ebracum...there the wails of the forced laborers echo.
Chapter 11A - The Heroes from the West [Western Heroes]
Milady: I see...what you're telling me is that there's no chance that the King's sister is on Fibernia or the other two islands. Oro: Exactly. We have also been watching the Lycian Alliance army which came here, and no one looking like Princess Guinivere has been seen. Milady: I see...then I will have to look elsewhere. Father Oro, thank you for your friendship towards Bern. Oro: I will pray that we can find Princess Guinerve safe. Milady: Then, excuse me.
Soldier: Lord Oro, who was that... Oro: A Dragon Knight of Bern, called Milady. She's searching for her mistress, Princess Guinivere. Soldier: Did you tell her? Oro: Of course not. Princess Guinivere is an important hostage. She's the trump card of our parent Bern faction. "The Princess is being hidden by Magician General Cecilia in Aklein." Receiving that information made Prime Minister Roats very happy. Like the time when I told Lord Alcard that Mildeen's assassination was successful. Soldier: L...Lord Oro! Don't speak so recklessly about things like that assassination... Oro: Ah, I should learn to control my mouth. In any case, that's the kind of value she has. Soldier: Y..yes, sir. Oro: So, did you have business other than that? Soldier: Yes! We have just been informed that the preparations are ready for the attack on the village where the Registans leaders are hiding. Oro: Then, attack at once, before anything can interfere.
Roy: So the hiding places of the Registans are around here? Lalum: Yeah. But the lord of this area is probably searching them out. Marinus: But the lord, this Oro guy, is really unbelievable. As a priest, he should be asking God to help the suffering of the people. Instead, he's causing them to suffer. Unforgivable!! Roy: We really should wait for the reply from Cecilia, but... Soldier: Lord Roy! Soldiers have appeared from the castle and they're attacking the village. Marinus: W..what! Lord Roy, what do we do? Roy: We don't have time to wait for Cecilia's instructions. I want to help the villagers. Even if it means worsening our relations with Etruria...if we just think of the safety of our own country, we're no better than the lords of these islands. Marinus: Lord Roy... Roy: Let's fight, so we can return proudly to Lycia!
(After turn 1) Gail: How did it go, Milady? Do you know where Princess Guinivere is? Milady: No...it seems she's no longer with the Lycian Alliance army. Just when we thought we finally had her... Gail: I guess searching these islands was worthless. Milady: Gail...sorry. I got the order to search for Princess Guinvere directly from the King, and to keep it secret I was told to use only my own army. But for you to be with me in this manner... Gail: Don't worry about such trifles. Milady: But you are a commanding officer under the direct control of Maddock, the highest of the Three Dragon Generals. [maybe -- the literal translation is something like "the person at the top of the list of the Three Dragon Generals", it might just mean that he's the best of them, not that he commands the others.] Gail: Cooperating with you was also arranged by General Maddock. Anyway, it looks like there's a high chance that she is still on the continent. That's General Nashen's jurisdiction -- we'll have to ask him for help. Milady: Bow our heads to General Nashen? Gail: ? Of course. He is one of the Three Dragon Generals, and the head of the Bern military. He commands the Southern Bern Army which is in charge of Lycia and Etruria. Milady: ...Gail, doesn't that annoy you? Gail: What? Milady: One corner of the Three Dragon Generals...that position should belong to you, but on the pretext that "you are not from Bern", he snatched it away. You would humble yourself before him... Gail: Yes. There's no other choice. Milady: But... Gail: I am satisfied with my current position. The King and General Maddock both though highly enough of a foreigner to give me this job....I'm not going to ask for anything else. Milady: Gail...
(After turn 5) Oro: Hehehe, I have a great idea. Is anyone here! Soldier: Did you call me? Oro: Tell the bandits to create a stir in the town, and then plunder the treasure during the confusion. Soldier: Yes, sir. But....is that a good idea? Such a public act... Oro: I am a mouthpiece of God. If anyone were to doubt me, that would be like going against God. There is no one on this island who can judge me. Anyway, we have to do this now or it's no good! Soldier: Yes, sir.
Klein: There's the Lycian Alliance army. Tate: Sent here from Etruria to exterminate the bandits... [Is "Tate" an official romanization from Nintendo? The name is pronounced "Tee-to"...but I guess that's a problem with a number of them. "Klein" is written "ku-re-i-n", which is pronounced like "crane", "Thany" sort of rhymes with "Lonny", "Clarine" has a voiced "e" at the end, ] Klein: According to Sir Alcard, they're going with the bandits and causing the people to suffer. I can't understand why they would go against their orders like that. Tate: Yeah... Klein: Tate, take the Pegasus Knights up to the north. I'm going to attack from here. Tate: All right. Klein: Wait, Tate! Tate: What? Klein: I heard that you have sisters. Tate: Yes, I have one older sister and one younger. Klein: Are they all Pegasus Knights? Tate: Yes. Why are you asking me this all of a sudden... Klein: Actually, I also have a younger sister. Tate: She must be a beautiful woman if she's your sister. Klein: Thanks. She's strong-willed, but she is really a poor little thing. But recently, she was caught up in events and she's missing... Tate: What! That's... Klein: She's been searched for all over, but she hasn't been found. Damn it, if only I didn't have these duties, I'd search for her myself. Tate: ... Klein: Tate, take care of yourself. Do it for the family that's thinking of you. Tate: All right, thank you. Klein: Then, let's go! Soldier: Is it OK? Klein: Is what OK? Soldier: According to Lord Alcard's orders, the Ilia Mercenary Pegasus Knights are to go in first, and then we follow so that we, the true Etrurian army, sustain as few losses as possible. Klein: Ridiculous. Those women are my trusted friends. Our unit will go in at the same time...no, we'll go in before them. Soldier: Yes, sir. Klein: ...but Sir Alcard's story is a bit odd. An army that just arrived from Lycia suddenly joining with the bandits...
(After turn 6) Brigand: We can really do whatever we want to the city? Soldier: That's right. But in exchange... Brigand: Half of the treasure goes to the castle, right? As usual, he's a greedy priest. Soldier: Then, take care of it. Brigand: All right, don't hold back. Let's take all the treasure we can!
(After player turn 7) Soldier: Lord Roy, bandits have appeared from the western mountains! Roy: They've come to plunder the town in the confusion of the battle. We can't allow that -- save the townspeople!
(After enemy turn 7) Tate: Everyone, are you ready? We're attacking to the south. Tate's subordinate: Commander Tate, are you sure this is all right? Tate: Hmm? Tate's subordinate: We were supposed to be disposable, to go in before the Etrurian army... Tate: Who said that? Tate's subordinate: We heard that rumor from one of the Etrurian soldiers. Tate: If you take every rumor you hear as truth, you'll never amount to anything. Tate's subordinate: But... Tate: For instance, that rumor...General Klein would never allow that to happen. Tate's subordinate: Well, OK... Tate: He's not like that. I believe in him. Tate's subordinate: I see, then we'll believe in him too. We believe in you, commander. Tate: Thank you. Then, let's go.

(After turn 8) Soldier: Ekidona, we know you're here! We have this house completely surrounded!! The villagers told us your secret hiding place!! You can't run anywhere, so throw down your weapons and come out!! [Ekidona appears] Ekidona: ... Soldier: You're the Registans leader Ekidona, right!? Townsperson: Sorry, Ekidona! They took my family as hostage... Ekidona: I understand. Don't worry about me, hurry back to your family. Townsperson: Sorry. I'm truly sorry... Soldier: If you surrender quietly, Father Oro will probably be merciful to you. Ekidona: Unfortunately, I don't plan to give up. Soldier: You're going to resist? Then, we have no choice. Kill him!
(After turn 9) Oro: What the heck is going on!? It's taking this long to defeat Registans... Soldier: It's the Lycian Alliance Army! They're fighting to protect Registans... Oro: What! The Lycian army? They've decided to revolt against Etruria? Soldier: Just now we heard about it from the governer of Jutes. "The Lycian Alliance army has murdered Node, and we suspect that they are rebelling against Etruria. There is a very high possibility that they are using the bandits. Capture them, or if you have to, kill them." Oro: Sir Node....I see. Anyway, that gives us a perfect reason to finish off the Lycian army. Using the bandits...we can twist that to our ends. Soldier: Also, we've gotten word that Lord Alcard has sent Pegasus Knight reinforcements to help us capture them. They should be arriving any minute now!! Oro: I see! So under the pretext of "capturing them", we'll finish the Lycian Alliance for good now. Soldier: Yes, sir!
(Roy talks to Klein) Roy: Wait! You're an Etrurian General, right? Why are you attacking us!? Klein: On the orders of Lord Alcard, governer of the islands. Prepare yourself! Roy: You got orders to fight us? Are you totally ignoring the terrible things going on here? The townspeople are suffering under the hand of the ruler who should be protecting them. As a soldier yourself, doesn't that fill you with shame? Klein: Wait, are you saying that you're helping the townspeople? Roy: Yes. The ruler here is attacking the town under the pretext of searching for Registans. We're fighting to try to prevent that. But it seems that you're an ally of the ruler, so... Klein: No, that won't happen. We heard that the Lycian Alliance was doing evil deeds through the bandits. Roy: !? Ridiculous! What reason would we have to join with the bandits! We're here to help the people and then we're going return to Lycia as fast as possible! Klein: ...< does he think I'm stupid?> Roy: What!? Klein: Lord Alcard underestimates me. He thinks that I can't even tell who's a bandit and who isn't when it's right in front of my eyes... Roy: < Do you understand now?> Klein: I am Klein, of the Riglay house of Etruria. Maybe I don't know the entire situation, but I'm not going to attack you. Roy: T...Thank you! I am Roy of House Pherea of Lycia. Klein: Sir Roy, I don't know the entire situation here. But be careful if you're going to make Lord Alcard an enemy. All of the lords on the islands are his subordinates. They will all be aiming for your life. Roy: That may be, but... Klein: ...if it's all right, I'll travel with the Lycian Alliance army. Roy: What! Really!? Klein: Yes. And while I travel with you I'll view your actions from the standpoint of an Etrurian soldier. And then, <I will join you permanently [or something like that]>. [Roy?]: Thank you. [pegasusknight.com has this line still as Klein's, but it makes more sense as Roy's, and they've dropped attributions elsewhere in their transcription]
(Clarine talks to Klein) [This is the dialogue you get if you have them talk when Klein is still an enemy. If you have them talk after Roy recruits Klein, you basically get a shorter version of this.] Clarine: Klein! Klein: Clarine, is that you? I'm so happy you're safe. When you suddenly disappeared from the palace, I was so worried... Clarine: I'm sorry. I wanted to somehow see you again... Klein: Geez, you did all this to see me...but I am glad. Anyway, how did you get this far west? Who did you trust enough to hire? Clarine: No, I'm here fighting with the Lycian Alliance. Klein: The Lycian Alliance!? Clarine: Yes, I've used my recovery staff to heal people many times. Klein: ...I see. <I would have expected nothing less of you.> Clarine: Hehehe...I'm a magnificent lady. Klein: I have one thing to ask you, though. From what you've seen, what kind of person is General Roy? Clarine: Hmm? Well...let's see. He's a noble, but a bit lacking in refinement. His hair, especially, needs some work... Klein: ...er, that's not quite what I meant. I'll just ask it straight out -- is he the kind of person who would use the bandits to cause people to suffer? Clarine: Of course not! He would never do something like that. In fact, we've come here to exterminate the bandits. Klein: I see... Clarine: The Etrurian person who's stationed here is a black-hearted man. I'm so ashamed...brother, are you allied with him? Klein: No, not after hearing what you had to say. Clarine: Hmm? Klein: I was sent to these islands to protect the people living here. To fulfill that mission I will join with the Lycian Alliance. Clarine: Brother! Klein: Let's go together, Clarine. Will you introduce me to General Roy? Clarine: Yes! Of course!! I love you, brother!!
(Lalum talks to Ekidona) Lalum: Ekidona! Ekidona: Lalum, you're all right. You're working under Elfin...if anything had happened to you I wouldn't have been able to face him again. Lalum: Sorry. If I hadn't been captured, I would have sent notice sonner... Ekidona: Don't worry about that. Lalum: But... Ekidona: Brooding over that isn't like you, Lalum. Lalum: O...OK. Ekidona: And this? What army is attacking here? Lalum: Lord Roy of the Lycian Alliance! They came here to destroy the bandits. Ekidona: Lycia...again, a far away land helps us...well, they seem to be a strong army. Then, would it be all right if I joined too? Lalum: Yes, I've been helping as well! Ekidona: All right! Then I think I'll go ahead and join. Lalum: Really? I think that Lord Roy will be very happy to have you as an ally.
(Thany talks to Tate) [This dialogue occurs if Klein is already in your army, pegasusknight.com doesn't give the dialogue for if you don't have him] Thany: Sister! Tate: Thany...what are you doing here? Thany: I can ask you the same. Tate: I have a contract with General Klein from Etruria. Thany, you've been hired as a mercenary by the Lycian Alliance Army? Thany: Yes. Tate: I see...then, I only have one thing to say -- ready your spear, Thany. Thany: No, you don't have to fight us! General Klein has become our ally. Tate: Really? Thany: Yes. Tate: ...I see. Then from now on we will also be your allies. Thany: Thank you, sister!
(Klein talks to Tate) [I'm not sure how this dialogue relates to whether or not you have talked to Tate with Thany.] Klein: Tate. Tate: General Klein! What's happened? Klein: From now on my group will be fighting alongside General Roy. Tate: ! ...understood. Then, so will we. Klein: You don't want to hear the reason? Tate: We're mercenaries. You hired us, so we'll follow whatever you decide. Also... Klein: Also? Tate: I trust you. You would not make this decision in error. Klein: Thank you, Tate.
Houses: 1 - "We live a hard life under Oro's rule. He steals everything, even our hope and our future. All we can do is live...I want to help in anyway I can." (Angel's Clothes) 2 - "Here, please take this. This is a magical wing. If you use it, you will get faster. No, really! But if you don't believe it in your heart, it won't work." (Wings of Speed) 3 - "My job is to take the village's money to the castle. If I don't do that, the village will be burnt down. But I'm going to give the money to you. I'm tired of being trampled underfoot. I decided that as soon as I saw you." (5000 gold) 4 - "I'm supposed to give this staff to Oro. He buys stuff like this with all the money he steals from us. But I'm going to give this weapon to you. Please don't lose, for our sake." (Sleep Staff) 5 - "Oh, you're with Registans! No? Ah I see. It seems like enemies are everywhere nowadays..here, take this. We believe in you." (Dragon Shield) 6 - "Staves! Do you need any staves? Hmm? Have I met you somewhere before? Must be my imagination...anyway, how many staves do you want? They work really well. No, they don't heal wounds at all. But they cure status conditions. What? You don't want it? Darn...here, I'll give you one for free. But the next one you'll have to buy!" (Rest Staff) 7 - "This dusty spear? I'll give it to you if you beat the enemies. My stupid brother used this while he was still living. Even though he was weak, he acted like he could fight for justice. What a stupid person. Really....stupid." (Axe Buster) 8 - "Good luck to you foreigners. We can't even lift a finger against these guys. You have a friend who can use a bow, so this will be useful. It's not much, but please take it." (Orion's Arrow)

(Attack Oro with Elen) Elen: You...even though you are a holy man... Oro: So what? If you use the word "God", you can do anything. Very useful. Heh heh heh.... Elen: ...Unforgivable.
(Attack Oro with Saul) Saul: Geez, what a cruel priest. Oro: Hehe...I'm faithful to my own feelings. If you use the word "God", you can do anything. Very useful. Heh heh heh.... Saul: What blasphemy! I'll give you a rightful punishment for that!
(Attack Oro with someone else) Oro: Going against me is the same as going against God. Feel the wrath of God's punishment!
(When you kill Oro) Oro: Y...you blasphemer...I am...a servant of God...ugh.
(When you capture the castle) Marinus: Lord Roy! Someone has arrived saying he's in Registans. Roy: I definitely want to meet him. Send him in, please.
Elfin: Lord Roy, right? Pleased to meet you. My name is Elfin, I work as a staff officer in Registans. Roy: I am Roy of the Lycian Alliance army. Elfin: Thank you for saving this village. Roy: No, we just did what we had to. Elfin: What you had to? With this fight, you've started a rebellion against Etruria. Didn't you even think about that?. [This next thing by Roy was rather difficult, I think I'm close to the correct meaning] Roy: Yes. If you just saw what we did here, you might think we are rebelling. But if you knew the true situation on the island your doubt would disappear. This isn't the time for a full explanation, but I sent a messenger to someone I trust. If that person helps us out then things will turn out for the better. Elfin: Well...I wonder about that. Roy: What do you mean? Elfin: Didn't you think it was strange for the Lycian Alliance to be given this bandit extermination request? Roy: Of course. Elfin: Well, here's my theory -- tell me what you think. This whole "bandit extermination" mission was the secret plan of Prime Minister Roats and the island governor Alcard. Roy: Why them? Elfin: Why would those two want to send you out here, away from the continent...it was necessary to drive you away, though. Perhaps it would have been nothing but trouble if you were in Lycia. Or maybe there's another reason? Roy: I didn't think about that at all... Elfin: There's a rumor that some of the Etrurian nobles are allied with Bern... Roy: W...what!? Then, Lycia is in danger... Marinus: L...Lord Roy!! Elfin: Youre country is in danger? Then you should leave the islands and return to your country, right? Marinus: E..exactly! Those people are well-skilled. If Bern is aiming for Lycia while we're far away, we have to return immediately.
Roy: We're not going back. Marinus: Lord Roy! Why... Elfin: ... Roy: It's not a very difficult decision to make. At a time like this, the most dangerous thing is believing whatever information you're given. I learned a lot in Ostia. This information is very unreliable, but there may be a core of truth to it, and I am concerned for Lycia. My father and Cecilia are both watching over Lycia. But we're the only ones here. Marinus: Well, that's true... Roy: If we just ignored that and went home, our entire appearance here would become a lie, don't you think? Elfin: ...You have the mind of a true leader. Roy: Huh? Elfin: Lord Roy, please forgive me for testing you like that. Marinus: What! A test!? You bastard, everything was a lie!! Elfin: I apologize for the lie. <I saw that for a brief instant you were going to jump to action.> But, you didn't lose sight of yourself. That's the kind of person I want to entrust my life with. Lord Roy, please allow me to join you as some kind of retainer. Roy: ...I don't like being tested like that, but if you join my I will welcome you in. Elfin: Then... Roy: Yes, let's fight together! So what do you think we should do next? Elfin: We should go to Jutes. To help the entire population of the islands we'll have to fight the Etrurian governer of Jutes, who is the ringleader of the oppression. Roy: All right. Let's go, to the Etrurian governer of Jutes! To help the people of the west, and also to fight the true enemy!!
(If you saved all the villages) Man: Oh, you're General Roy, right? Roy: Yes... Man: We want to thank you for saving the town. Everyone sends their thanks. Please take this. (Hero's Proof)
(If you saved all of Klein's NPC archers) Klein's Subordinate: General Klein, as per your orders, we'll stay here and help with the postwar cleanup. Klein: Thank you. Klein's Subordinate: We wish we could keep fighting with you...please take this arrow we were keeping. And be safe. Klein: Thanks. (Orion's Arrow)
(If you saved all of Tate's Pegasus Knight NPCs) Tate's Subordinate: Commander Tate! We are going to return to Ilia to gather infomation. Tate: All right, thank you. Tate's Subordinate: Oh, by the way...before we left your older sister left this with us. Please, be careful... Tate: You too. (Sky Whip)

Following the information from an ancient document Elfin had read, Roy's army headed for an old cave near Jutes. But, Roy's army was not the only group that knew about the cave. That would be the cause of a new fight...
Chapter 12 Gaiden - The Thunder Axe
Gereo: So this is the innermost area of the cave...the treasure, where's the treasure? Answer me--- Bandit 1: B...boss...isn't this wrong? "Absolutely do not go in the cave. Stop up the entrance with dirt and rocks." That's exactly what we were told. If we go against Bern, we'll be back in prison again... Gereo: Dumbass! The cave will be buried so how will they know? There's a bunch of forgotten treasure here -- if we cover up the cave without anyone taking it, then it won't see anyone again. You should think about the treasure's feelings! Bandit 1: Y...yes, sir. Bandit 2: Boss, bad news! There's an army at the cave's entrance. Gereo: What? They're hoping to take our treasure, eh? Kill them all, and then gather the contents of the treasure boxes here! All of it will be mine.
Roy: So there's a Divine General Weapon in this cave...I can hardly see anything because it's so dark. Elfin: There's a man in Jutes who is very familiar with the old writings. He told me that there is definitely a Divine General Weapon here. It's the "Thunder Axe Almace". Roy: Almace...not a sword, but an axe? Elfin: The Berserker Tuldan...he is said to have been a magificent man. His skill with the axe is legendary. Roy: ...Elfin, you know a lot about the Divine General Weapons and the Eight Divine Generals, don't you? Elfin: It's because I'm a minstrel. I know a lot of myths and legends. Roy: I see. When we have more time I'd like you to tell me some of them. Elfin: Of course. ...Lord Roy, it seems that some people have been here already. Roy: Huh? Elfin: There's some strange smoke coming from the walls. We should be careful.
[When you attack and kill the boss he just makes groaning noises]
(When you capture the throne) Roy: Where is the Divine General Weapon? Elfin: Let's see...there's a faint sound of wind coming from behind the throne... Roy: Hmm? I can't hear it. But...if you look closely, there's a gap in the floor here. Ah, it opened! Is this the Divine General Weapon? It's a very large axe. Elfin: The Thunder Axe Almace...used by the Berserker Tuldan. An axe fit for a legendary hero.
Soldier: T...terrible news!! We just received news from Etruria. In the capital Aquella, there was a coup d'etat! Marinus: W...what! Soldier: The instigators were Prime Minister Roats and Alcard, the governer of these islands. They led a faction that captured King Mordred and then agreed to divide the world amongst them and Bern! Marinus: What's going on...then, the two largest empires on the continent have allied... Roy: Is Cecil...er, General Cecilia all right!? And Princess Guinivere... Soldier: We don't have all the details, but the Three Etrurian Generals who oversee the military might of Etruria are now split. Magician General Cecilia was warned beforehand and just barely escaped the city. It seems that she went to the Missur peninsula at the west end of the continent. Roy: And the other two generals? Soldier: <They joined with the coup-d'etat faction.> Marinus: Lord Roy... Roy: Well, let's go find Cecilia. Cecilia, Princess Guinivere...I hope they're both all right!

The coup-d'etat which began in the capital city Aquleia quickly spread to the entire Etrurian kingdom. Cecilia, accompanied by Princess Guinivere, fled Aquleia and then joined up with an anti-coup-d'etat faction. They fought numerous battles in many areas.
But the might of the coup-d'etat forces, who had Bern as a supporter, was great. And following a royal decree by King Mordred to supress the anti-coup-d'etat faction, Commander-in-Chief Douglas and Knight General Percival joined with the coup-d'etat force to destroy them. Soon the faction was chased to an old castle in the west end of the Missur peninsula.
After somehow finding out Cecilia's whereabouts, Roy's army left the Western Islands and came to the Missur Peninsula to rescue her. At that time, the anti-coup-d'etat faction had holed itself up in the old castle and was being attacked by a Bern-Etruria allied army. Under the leadership of Cecilia, the anti-coup-d'etat faction was still fighting a good fight, but their defeat was only a matter of time...
Chapter 13 - The Rescue Mission
[The name really should be "Narshen" instead of "Nashen" as I've been writing it previously.]
Narshen: We still can't capture the castle!? Freya: Right...under the leadership of General Cecilia, the enemy's resistance is much stronger than we expected. Narshen: That impudent woman is getting in my way again...! [Zephyr and Idoun appear. Zephyr has an odd way of talking -- he uses very blunt and clipped speech with a lot of archaic and formal words and phrases.] Zephyr: It seems that you're having trouble, Narshen. Idoun: ... Narshen: Y...Your Majesty. When did... Zephyr: I just arrived. It seems that the Etrurian General is putting up a fight. Narshen: Yes, sir...we'll have it captured quickly, so... Zephyr: Fine. I'll go against her myself. [Narshen leaves] Idoun: Your Majesty, you shouldn't fight... Zephyr: Don't worry, it will be fun. [Idoun leaves, Narshen reappears] Zephyr: Narshen, tell me the situation.
Roy: What's the situation? Marinus: The castle has not been captured yet. Roy: Good! Then let's hurry!
(After player turn 1) Zephyr: Oh-hoh, you're the Magician General Cecilia. Cecilia: !! ...King Zephyr of Bern... Zephyr: Out of respect for your fighting skill, I will be your opponent. Cecilia: .....Ugh!! [Cecilia and Zephyr fight, Cecilia is defeated] Cecilia: T...too strong.... Zephyr: Knocked out? Hmm, ridiculous. Narshen: Excellent work, Your Majesty. Zephyr: So that's the strength of an Etrurian General. Narshen: Your Majesty, if it pleases you, would you give her to me? Zephyr: Hmm? Narshen: I have a slight grudge against this girl. I would like to have my revenge on her... Zephyr: Heh. Fine, do what you want with her. [Zephyr leaves] Narshen: I am very thankful. Hey, prepare the dungeon of the castle. Soldier: Yes, sir.
(After enemy turn 1) Percival: The Bern army attacked the castle? Soldier: Yes. Percival: ...This is different from what they said. I thought it was decided that we would deal with internal Etruria affairs ourselves. Soldier: What should we do? Percival: ...is General Narshen the one leading the attack on the castle? Soldier: No, it's King Zephyr himself. Percival: ! The king himself...then, Bern never had any intention of leaving it to us. For now we're not going to move. Tell the others that. [Soldier disappears] Percival: ......
Roy: The castle has really been captured? Marinus: Yes. We were too late. Roy: What happened to Cecilia? Marinus: We know she was attacked, but maybe they haven't entered the castle yet...maybe... Roy: We still have a chance. We won't give up! Let's hurry to the castle!!
(After player turn 2) Narshen: Your Majesty! We found Princess Guinivere. Zephyr: ...bring her here. [Guinivere appears] Guinivere: Brother... Zephyr: Guinivere...it's been a while. Guinivere: Brother, why are you doing this...creating war for people living in peace... Zephyr: Living in peace, you say? Heh. Jealousy, Envy, Greed...don't people fight constantly in every country for those useless things? Washing blood with more blood. Even if it's not "war", can you really call that peace? Guinivere: W...well... Zephyr: Right. I have to liberate the world from these trifles. My war is for that purpose. Guinivere: But, for that purpose, innocent people... Zephyr: Sacrifice is necessary for change. <But nothing comes from just doing that.> Guinivere: B...brother... Zephyr: Guinivere, you are my sister. My only relative. Because of that, I will be kind to you this time. But twice I will not forgive! Remember that! Guinivere: ...... Zephyr: Narshen! Guinivere's bodyguard is in this army, right? Narshen: Yes, sir. A dragon knight named Milady. Zephyr: Order her to take Guinivere back to Bern, and also to put the Fire Emblem back in the Sealed Temple. Narshen: Yes, sir. Guinivere: Brother...
(After enemy turn 2) Guinivere: Milady... Milady: Lady Guinivere, I'm glad you're all right. All right, let's go back to Bern on my dragon....Lady Guinivere? Guinivere: Milady! Milady: W...what are you doing! Carrying around a sword is dangerous! Guinivere: Milady, please, leave me! Milady: !! ...if I leave you, what will you do? Guinivere: ...I heard that Lord Roy of the Lycian Alliance army was nearby... Milday: !? Are you saying you'd run to the enemy! Guinivere: The way things are, the world will be engulfed by Bern's....my brother's army. By using some reason or another, my brother is controlling things through force. <If he continues on that path, I don't think anything good is going to result from it.> Milady: ...... Guinivere: Please, Milady. Leave me...just leave me here. Milady: ...just one thing. Guinivere: ? Milady: There's only one thing you've done that I resent. Before, when you fled Bern, why didn't you tell me anything? Guinivere: W...When I thought about it from your standpoint... Milady: You think that's as far as my loyalty to you goes? I may be a knight of Bern, but above that I am Your Highness' knight. Even when I took my oath of knighthood that did not change. Guinivere: Milady... Milady: So you didn't have to ask permission, if you had just said "Let me escape" I would have happily followed your orders. Guinivere: Milady, thank you... [Milady flies over to Roy] Milady: Please stop your attack! I am not an enemy! Roy: Not an enemy? Everyone stop attacking! Marinus: L...Lord Roy, this is just a trick... Roy: She's a messenger of the enemy. Isn't it against the knight's code to attack a messenger? Marinus: ...... Milady: Are you Sir Roy? Roy: ...That's right. And you are... Guinivere: Lord Roy! Roy: P...Princess Guinivere! You're safe. Guinivere: Yes. This person helped me escape. Milady: I am Milady. I'll make your acquaintance later. Guinivere: Lord Roy, General Cecilia is still alive. Roy: R..really? Guinivere: Yes. She was seriously wounded, but right now she's in the dungeon of the castle... Roy: All right, you can tell me the rest later. Let's save Cecilia quickly!
(After player turn 3) Zephyr: Are the preperations complete? Idoun: Yes. You only have to give the order, the Dragons are always ready... [Idoun leaves] Zephyr: Narshen. I'm going to lend you a few dragons. Take one division of the army to the Nabata desert. Narshen: Nabata Desert...you mean the area in the center of this peninsula. Zephyr: Right. There's supposedly a hidden village that has existed there since the Human-Dragon war. Narshen: Ah, I see. Then, one of the Divine General Weapons... Zephyr: ...is probably there. It's not important for us, but it would be troublesome if our enemies gained it. The army that was sent ahead has started fighting, but they're not strong enough. Narshen: Then I will take the mercenaries and the dragons. Zephyr: Hmm. I'll give you the girl we captured in Nabata. She's a Shaman, apparently from that hidden village I was talking about earlier. Try to get more detailed information out of her. Narshen: Thank you. If it's just one hidden village, I should be able to capture it easily. Zephyr: ...I'll remember those words. Narshen: Yes, sir!
(After enemy turn 3) [In the castle jail] Cecilia: U...ugh...where am I? Sofia: Ah...don't move yet... Cecilia: Are you the one who bandaged my wounds? Sofia: ...yes...I'm not very good at it, so it's not great... Cecilia: No, thank you very much. You saved my life. Anyway, I have to escape here as quickly as...ugh Sofia: No...don't move...your wounds... Cecilia: I can't just stay here like this... Sofia: Don't worry...the warm light is coming soon to save you. Cecilia: Light? Sofia: Yes. This light will also save me. Just wait, the light will come... Cecilia: Who are you... Sofia: I am Sofia, a shaman of a Nabata village. Cecilia: What is a "Nabata village"? Sofia: I'll explain everything to you later. Just believe me for now...
(After enemy turn 8) Soldier: Lord Percival, you called me? Percival: Pull back the troops. Soldier: Huh? Is that all right? Percival: What Bern is doing now is an obvious insult to us. We're not going to lend our strength to Bern anymore. Let's get back to Aquelia and consult with Sir Douglas on what to do from here. Retreat quickly! Soldier: Yes, sir!

(When you reach the center of the map) Freya: Lord Narshen! They're here! T..The Lycian Alliance army!! Narshen: The Lycian Alliance Army? Freya! They were supposed to be finished off at Jutes! Freya: Yes! W..well, no. I left a dragon there thinking there was no way they would survive... Narshen: What the hell! That wasn't what I wanted done, and I am your commander!! If the Lycian Army is not destroyed, my ability will be doubted...they always seem to win, and on top of that they beat that dragon...it seems like ordinary means aren't going to work against them. Freya: L...Lord Narshen. What should we do... Narshen: Well, there's no choice, Freya. I'm going back to the Etrurian capital to work on a plan against them. You'll stay here. Freya: What! B...but... Narshen: I don't think you'll beat them, but attack them with everything you've got. I'll leave the soldiers here. Freya: Your Excellency, do you really plan to use me as a sacrifical pawn? Narshen: Freya...originally, when you screwed up in the Islands, your life was forfeit. But I've given you a chance to save it. You should really be thanking me. Hehehe... Freya: B...but... Narshen: Or would you prefer to be executed here by my own hands? Freya: I understand... Narshen: Then, I leave it to you. Hehehe...
(If you manage to have Lalum talk to Percival the dialogue is exactly the same as in chapter 15 so I'll just hold that conversation until then.)
(Lance-Wolt support C) Lance: ...... Wolt: Umm...Sir Lance. Lance: ...I see. Wolt: Sir Lance? Lance: ...Wolt? Sorry, I was lost in thought. Wolt: I interrupted you, didn't I. Lance: No, I was almost done. Don't worry about it. Wolt: Uh...OK. Lance: Is there something you wanted to tell me? Wolt: Yes. Please let me stay at your side and learn. I want to be fight well just like you, and become stronger so that I can help Lord Roy.
Towns: 1 - "I brought this for you, I think it will be useful. If you use this ring, your body will conspicuously become better. Women won't grow very much, though..." (Body Ring) 2 - "Oh, this sword? They said an army was coming to attack so I grabbed this to protect myself. But it doesn't really look like I can use it. It's a pretty good sword, isn't it? This was used by a strong young man fighting Bern like you. I'll give this to you -- finish this war up quickly, please." (Al's Sword)
Houses: 1 - "Lady Cecilia, Lord Percival, and Lord Douglas! Those three people are the strongest Three Generals. They won't lose to the Three Dragon Generals of Bern...absolutely not!" 2 - "Lady Cecilia..in one attack...that's...that's...that's King Zephyr of Bern..." 3 - "The 'Knight General' Percival even now is upholding his oath to the dead Prince Mildeen. How wonderful!"
(When you attack Freya) Freya: D...damn it! But I'll show you the power of a Bern Dragon Knight!!
(When you defeat Freya) Freya: R...remember this. There are many more generals stronger than me. The Bern Army, strongest on the continent, will never let you live...
(When you capture the castle) Roy: Cecilia! Cecilia: Roy...looks like you've caught me in an embarassing situation. Roy: What are you talking about! I'm glad I was able to help you. But that wound...are you all right? [Sofia appears] Cecilia: Yes, this young girl treated my wounds. Roy: ...you are? Sofia: I am...Sofia...a sorceress from a village...in Nabata... Cecilia: She had a vision that you were coming, Roy. Why don't I let her tell you the whole story... [Cecilia leaves] Sofia: OK...my village...is in the east of...the Nabata desert...we live by ourselves there...we do not interact with the outside world...but...Bern found out about us... Roy: Did they attack you? Sofia: Yes...I failed to escape... Roy: I see. But why is Bern interested in your village? Sofia: I don't know...but perhaps...they knew that dragons live in our village...[There is no singular or plural in Japanese in most cases so this might also be "a dragon" instead of "dragons".] Roy: Dragons!? Sofia: Yes...long ago, our village...was made by the dragons and the humans...working together... Roy: ...huh, that's interesting. Sofia: ...Lord Roy...please...please save my village... Marinus: But to tell us this unbelievable story all of a sudden! Sofia: ...... Roy: ...<Stop it.> It's probable that her village was attacked by Bern, right? And we owe her a debt of gratitude for saving Cecilia. Sofia: ...Thank you. Roy: Then if it's all right, please tell me everything about your Nabata village and the dragons. Sofia: ...I'll be glad to tell you...what I know...

Roy rescued Cecilia and Princess Guinivere, and then acting on information from a sorceress of a village in Nabata, set his sights for the Nabata Desert which is in the center of the Missur peninsula. According to Sofia, the Nabata village was at an oasis in the center of the desert and it was currently under attack by Bern forces. Probably Bern's aim was the dragons that lived in that village...
Roy hurried towards the village, and in his way stood great sandstorms like walls.
Chapter 14 - Utopia
Igrene: Hey! Hurry up, Fa. If we can get to the center of the temple there should be a hiding place. Can you run that far? Fa: Wha? Fa's tired! Igrene: Don't be so selfish! Hey, before Bern comes... Fa: Where's Sofia? Igrene: I don't know. She was captured by the Bern soldiers, probably... Fa: Hey, can we chase after Bern and go to the outside world? Igrene: No. We can't interact with the outside world -- isn't that what the Elder said? Fa: Aww....boring! Igrene: ...anyway, I wonder how Bern found out about this Nabata village. Before, Sofia was saying that she felt some sort of ominous power greater than the Bern army...I wonder what that means? Fa: <What? How stupid!> Igrene: ! This isn't the time to think about that. Come on, Fa! Fa: I want to see the outside world...
Randy: Zeis! General Narshen isn't here yet? Zeis: Right. The mercenaries and dragons have come as reinforcements. We haven't seen General Narshen yet. Randy: Eh! What the hell is he doing! We can't capture the entire village with the force we have now. Zeis: ...... Randy: Anyway, if we can't even tell His Majesty about the dragons living here... Zeis, go back to Aquleia. His Majesty is headed there now. Zeis: What should I tell him? Randy: ...it appears that there are dragons in this village. The people we captured say that there are beings called "Holy Dragons"...which are the strongest of the dragons. That's all. Zeis: Yes, sir. Randy: Go quickly.
Roy: What a terrible sandstorm. Sofia: Yes...this sandstorm protects our village...from outsiders... Roy: I see. We won't be able to find it, then. Which way should we go? Sofia: Northeast...but... Roy: But? Sofia: Because of the sandstorm...a whole bunch of things are scattered around...watch your step and be careful...
(After turn 7)
Rose: So those people that came into the desert are gone, aren't they, Maggie? Maggie: Yeah, gone, Rose. Rose: It seems like that hidden village really exists, right, Maggie? Maggie: Yeah, Rose. Rose: But it would suck for us to end up like lost children in the desert, right, Maggie? Maggie: We'd never return, would we, Rose? Rose: Then in the end should we forget about the hidden village, Maggie? Maggie: But we heard about all those hidden treasure inside, Rose. Rose: We definitely want to get those, don't we, Maggie. Maggie: Much more profitable than robbing passersby in the desert, right, Rose? Rose: But I don't want to be a lost child, Maggie! Maggie: How about we just follow those people over there, Rose? Rose: Great plan. And afterwards we'll kill them, right, Maggie? Maggie: Exactly, Rose. Rose: All right, let's go, Maggie. Maggie: Yeah, let's go, Rose.
(After turn 25) Roy: The sandstorm stopped... Marinus: This is our chance, Lord Roy. We can see the village clearly now! Roy: But the enemies can see us better too. Let's hurry!
(If you stop Sofia in the entryway to the oasis) Sofia: Ah...what's this light...wow...a pretty ring...(Guidance Ring)
Houses: 1 - "Sometimes in the desert strange things appear. If you are very lucky you may find something. Why don't you try going to some suspicious-looking places?" 2 - "Do you know about Delphi, the Winged God? In ancient times it was believed that she flew around the sky protecting everything. If a Pegasus or Dragon could receive that protection, it would not have to fear flying..."
(When you kill Maggie) Maggie: ...Huh? Too bad, isn't it, Rose?
(When you kill Rose) Rose: ...huh? This really hurts, Maggie.
(When you attack Randy) Randy: My sword has no weak spot. By the light or by the blade, you can choose how you will die.
(When you kill Randy) Randy: Magnificent...in the end...I fight against someone as strong as you...
(When you capture the palace) [As usual, if you get under 25 turns, the usual closing for this chapter is moved ahead to the end of the Gaiden chapter.] Roy: Those were strong enemies...but everything seems to be all right here. Sofia: Where are all the townspeople? Roy: What's wrong? Sofia: Lord Roy...the entrance to the sacred temple... Roy: This door...it's been forced open. What's been enshrined in the center of the temple? Sofia: Inside is...a magical book...called a "Divine General Weapon"... Roy: A Divine General Weapon is here!? ...Bern's goal in attacking this village must have been to steal the Divine General Weapon. We're too late, aren't we! Sofia: But...the Divine General Weapon...is still inside... Roy: How do you know that? Sofia: ...Power...the Divine General Weapon's....Power...I can still feel it. Roy: Interesting! Then we can still prevent it from falling into Bern's hands. Let's hurry!

I'm still around -- like I said back on page 1 I made no guarantees whatsoever how far I would get. I'm surprised I got to chapter 14.
And who knows, I may come back to it at some point. I would like to know what happens in the plot myself.
