I have played FE7 and found out that Karel is playable in this game as well. Why is he know the Sword Saint? What role does he play in the story? What are his support conversations like? Thanks.

His support are:
Fil Barthol Rutger Zais Noah Miredy
(taken from the site) And why he's the Sword Saint after being the Sword Demon, I don't know, that's a good question.......

He's not killin ppl anymore in FE6, as "sword saint" but just training swordskill to be stronger, unlike in FE7 when he was a "sword demon".

He's the Sword Saint because he went Rurouni and started going around doing good deeds. I think he probably cracked and came back to his senses when Karla died probably, or maybe Karla managed to talk some sense into him.

More likely the latter. Karel didn't know she had died until Bartre or Fir recruit him in FE6...

But do his support conversations reveal anything about him?

In the supports with Bartre and Fir, they talk a lot about Karla. Fir wants him to train her, but he eventually tells her she's good enough that she doesn't need it. In a couple of others, he talks about Sacae. It's all very vague, I read them a long time ago.

Wait,so Karel and Bartre come back to FE6? Sweet

Uh...well... since Fir recruits him, that's when I found out. =P Course, I did play FE6 long before 7, and it's still kinda hard to imagine him as a father...

Bartre sounds he's stupid when you see his C and B support in FE7 with anyone, but I think he has good principles when you see his differents A Support. He's stupid, but he's also mature.
