I read a chart looong time ago explaining growth statistics, although I don't remember the site. I can't read chinese although my Japanese profeciency got me to the chart...their chart looks like everything's doubled from the chart that I read. All my explanation is based on the old chart, so just double every number if you're basing it on the chart on fireemblem.net.
First off, I can see that Aice's calculation is only based on having them not stand next to each other. The chart only shows natural growth rates.
You basically need 500 points in the love meter for people to fall in love.
Being next to each other gives +5 to the love meter, except for siblings (where they know they are siblings, unlike Sylvia and Claude). This only works for the first 50 turns. On top of this, most characters have a natural love growth rate with others. This means no matter how far they are, their love will grow by a small amount. This amount is anywhere from 0~4 for most cases. Tiltyu and Finn have something like +10 natural growth, which is the only reason why it's even possible to pair them together although it's still tough because they only have 1 chapter together.
Predestined pairs either start out with a large amount of points already in there, like 200 or something for most pairs or they can gain a big boost through conversations. Non-destined pairs start out with 0 usually, although late game units like tiltyu starts with a bonus with everyone.
Yuria can be paired with anyone. It's just that she has no natural growth rate whatsoever. You just need that +5 from standing next to each other, so she takes 100 turns of standing next to someone within the first 50 turns of a chapter. There is a little trick to have her even pair up with Celice. Standing next to each other gives +5, while they have a -5 natural growth rate. So you can keep their love meter at 495. The way to actually pair them up is when Yuria is an enemy. When characters are on different armies, they do not have any natural growth rate but they still increase their love meter from being next to each other. This doesn't change the ending or anything, just a little tidbit.
There is no added bonus for actually doing something next to each other, it's still only +5. (This really has mixed reps, but the site I trust most that figured out how to pair Yuria and Celice said so and I'm sticking to that).
