I just started to play fe6, and i must say that fe6 is a lot harder than fe7. By the way, how many charactors should I build?

My advice for any FE game is a minimum of five hard-core high-level characters.

Get all the legendary weapons in the Gaiden chapters. And I think Fa must live.

yup, you need to get all the gaiden chapters and have all the legendary weapons intact when you kill zephiel.

Ch-4 Clarine, she'll escape from Laus castle around turn 3-4 and run to you as a NPC.
Just bring Roy near her and she'll automatically talk to Roy herself and join you. Also remember around turn 5-6 than Rutger Myrimidon will come out and Clarine can recruit him.
