I would give her a 6. She has great power and resistance, but she is slow, and dark magic has a terrible hit rate; in other words, it's hard to level her up.

I give her an 8. She is slower then Rei, but she pretty much OHKOs everything with Apocalypse.

Actually Sophia is quite fast, shes WAY faster than Lillina its just Dark Magic being so heavy weighs her down alot.

She's only hard to levelup because of her low starting skill plus the Miir/Flux spell got a accuracy upgrade in FE7.

Otherwise she maxes magic no problem, speed turns out decent enough and its nothing a Nosferatu spell can't sort out since they're lighter in FE6 plus with the stronger ones like Apocalypse she can OHKO almost everything with it.

Rei may have a bit more speed, def and skill but Sophia beats him in magic, res and luck.

Actually Sety Lilina is a bit faster, and Anima tomes tend to weigh less then Dark tomes.

Sophia has one of the lowest Speed growths in Fuuin no Tsurugi. Maybe you just got lucky with her speed. But you make a good point, Nosferatu will fix that Speed problem she has.

Sophia's AWESOME when you power her up. Comparing her at Lv. 20 Shaman to Rei at Lv. 20 Shaman, there's no comparison; Sophia is higher in every single stat except HP, and that's not by much. With skillful training, she can be good.

6/10. There are better things to do at that point than trying to raise a L1 shaman in the face of axe throwing pirates and wyverns. Just use Rei.

4/10. Not only she hard to level up, but she is one of the slowest mages in the game. She only good when you use her lengendary weapon. I hate it when somebody double attacks her with a javelin when I try to level her up.

10/10 She is unkillable with nosferatu and a few angelic robe, if u bought it from secret shop! I dont think its a hard to for lvl tho, i have 14 charactor promoted and all above lvl 10 and im at chapter 19... And she is one hella of dodger against magic, everytime she is hurt, she just leech them back with nosferatu, except arena. Its a pain in arena cuz of the bishops and the flux.

Giving Sophia a Nosferatu and you'll be seeing her recovering full HP every turn with her psycho magic. She starts with low skill but it really picks up and Nosferatu/Rizziah itself is a accurate spell. I wouldn't put her over Rei but definitely over Lillina.
Having another Nosferatu user is very useful as it gives you one less person to bother with healing.

I'll give a 9 then. I'm not really bothered about Apocalypse (damn I hate it- stupid weight...) but Sophia is a pretty damn good character, she is faster than Lilina on my file and you can sort her low build with a body ring.

Oh yeah how would you spell her name because I'm sure its Sofiya (plus that's a place in Europe?)

Actually, Lilina should be a little faster than Sophia, since they both start with 4 Speed, both get +3 on promotion, while Sophia has 30% Speed growth and Lilina has 35% growth, and Anima tomes are very light as mentioned.

Though Sophia doesn't need much Speed as long as she can hit things, because Nosferatus are buyable...so as long as she doesn't get killed in one hit or get hit twiced, she can survive without a problem even if you send her into a group of wyvern riders in the later chapters of Hard mode.

I'd give her a 8/10...since statistically she's not much better than Rei aside from Magic and Resistance, but aside from that she's a great unit.
