ok who do you think is the better axe user? i REALLY like echidna's skill and speed. but geese has a very high strength whats your opinion?

Ekidna... doesn't really grow after you first get her. Granted, Geese isn't the reliable powerhouse--easy for him to not get that high str and spd, though you may prefer his higher skill--that Dart and Gonzales are, but he's still better than a subpar hero, unless you are really short on hero crests for some reason.

Ekidona is okay, but she doesn't compare to the rest of the hero or Geese. Oujay and Dieck beats her in every stat. She starts out with high skl and spd, but her other stats are either below average or really bad(her defense).

Geese has poor statgrowth. Eckhidonia is just useless when u have Dieck.(I never tried Oujay tho)

I would prefer Geese since he promotes into a Berzerker, but I would REALLY say to screw them both, pump some skill books into Gonzales, and promote him.

I like Geese better, too- he just turns out better for me than Gonzales, 'cause I'm really stingy when it comes to stat-improving items. Ekidona just doesn't really measure up.

At the end of the day Echidona's not going to be that powerful. i got her to level 20 and her skill and speed are pretty good but I think you should lose her for Geese because he has more potential.
Up to you though, she's not that bad for a promoted unit.

I prefer ekidona, but no particular reason. Shes the only hero i ever use, hehe, tho in my game shes maxed out of hp, str, speed, skill and critical like 1/3 attacks...

^Damn your Echidona must be evil. On my file she only maxed speed at level 20... Did you use stat-raising items?

In the end if you want a Axe user the best Axe user in the game next to Geese without stat up items is Percival.
Lvl.5
HP: 64
Str: 19
Sk: 16
Spd: 20
Luk: 16
Def: 15
Res: 13
Lance-A, Sword-A, Axe-C
Growth:
HP: 75 Str: 30 Sk: 25 Spd: 35 Luk: 20 Def: 20 Res: 10
Does get relatively low growth rates but has some awesome base stats for a pre-promoted character of his level....heck even my Alan and Lance pale in comparisson to Percival at lvl.5
Plus he can use Kill Axes straight off the bat its really easy to get him upto A/S in Axes. Of course thats only in Hard mode.
Otherwise Geese is the best Axe user period without stat up items
