Some problems in FE Gaiden

Hi everybody !

My sister is playing at FE Gaiden (not me for the moment, I'm very busy with FE 4), and she has some little problems...

Since there's pratically no FAQ for this game, can someone experimenced take a little time and help her ?
Here are the problems :

1) She wants to know what are the recruitable character, especially the ones which requires specific conditions (ie who dont comes automatically in your party).

2) Look at this picture :



At this stage, there a girl with a specific picture, here she is :



This girl can be recruited ? if yes, how ?


3) Look at this picture :



When she get at this stage, after a few moments, in the middle of battle the game resets from itself, so she can't progress in the game with Celica's party.
Someone knows how to solve this problem ?

Ok here goes:
1)I won't bother I can't remember everybodies name plus I hav'nt beaten the game fully yet.

2)Yes the character can be recruited just finnish the battle without killing her. I recomend someone with high magic defence and one of the hp regenerating weapons keeps her occupied.

3)Have you saved your game properly, recently? I found I had to use the suspend/intermission/quit option to continue in that battle. It doesn't freeze the game as the unreliable FAQ reports it tells you the battle is saved. Top option when your turn the power back on.

The patch has a bug with one of the spells Learnt by Celica and Dyute and it causes the game to lock when ever they try to use any spells. Its a shame as Dyute is my favorite magic user. Solution: save your game use an unpatched rom and rename your save to that.

Finally Don't forget the triangle attack.

The triangle attack is done when the 3 Pegasus Sisters surround and enemy in a delta formation and attack them. This attack is 3x the normal strength.

You really should use the 3 peagasus sisters (Poala,Katua and est), the Falcon knight is one of the best classes due to the fact it does insane damage to most undead things (esspecilly those annoying spirits).

You get Est in the desert base (Along with a promotion for Celica).
You are pretty much at the end of the line as far as recruiting goes so i'll continue from where you wrere in the pics:
Alm:
Dyute-I've already explained this.
Tita and Shek- I think those are the names. Priestess and Great Knight. Now this ones a bit tricky. In chapter 4 theres a battle with 2 even armies side by side. If Titas on the party then Sheks side will be allies. You get Tita by going to the right into one of the castles or caves. Just finish the battle with Shek alive to get him.
Meisen-Was it end of chapter 4 or start of chapter 5.

Celica:
Depending on who you fight, the sword user or witch you get the one you don't kill at the desert base (along with Est). I'm sure I missed out a sage (I think its the one that gives Alm his promotion).

Notes:
On Alms route, Dragon mountain (something like that). Don't go there until Celicas quest is at the enterance of Domlas tower. To stop the endless flow of Zombie dragons Celica has to end her quest. Make sure Alms party has a dragon shield and Celicas party is organised your best at the top. Celiva gets thrown into the final battle with no chance to change anything.
The awesome spell Ragnarok crashes the spell menu with the translation patch. Ragnarok does usually about 30-40.

By the way, I took my sister's play a little, for trying to see if I can have Dyute...
It was easier than I thought... If she had told me that her Silk had Warp Magic, I would advise her to teleport someone and beat the crap out of the ugly boss at the top of the map...

That's what I did (but cos it's not my play, I wasn't careful and I didn't check the boss's level, so Clea died ), right after Alm killed him, Dyute was snapped out of his grip ;D

Of course, I didn't save the game

That's exactly what I did to beat it. But you can also let Dyute waste all her HP until she has just one HP then surround her and she can't run back to recover her HP.

I had Matilda equiped with Star spear working as a meat sheid for my party. Duyte always warped nearby the parties starting point. I just pounced on the boss when his hp was low (he likes to use reserve an awful lot).

Yes, Dyute is a recruitable character.

Be sure your party is powerful (high hit rate, attack, defense and magic defense)

Dyute will teleport to your party and use her magic to attack your party. Be sure your party have high magic defense, healing items and healing magic.

Use upgraded Pegasus (more powerful), fly across the reservoir and kill the boss immediately.

Once the boss is kill, Dyute’s curse will disappear and she will wait for Alm at the SewerGate.

Clear the stage, enter the SewerGate, talk to her and she will join your party.
