Seti showed me a song from FEG called "Salamander," but it's identical to Gerudo Valley from OoT. Has anyone played FEG far enough to know what this is about? Thanks in advance ^^

I might be able to tell if I hear it =) Hmm... this kinda strikes me as odd... in FE2, there's a song called Salamander, and in FE1, there's a dummy class (if it even is one) that's also called Salamander. Perhaps it's just a coincidence...  |

Ive heard the song... it does indeed sound like the gerudo theme.. at first i thought it was named wrong.. but i guess maybe zelda had a fire emblem camio?

Ok I think I know which track he's talking about. I believe it first heard in chapter 4 when you either enter a cave or the forest. The track does sound a little bit like the Gerudo Valley. The beats are similar. I think the person who made the MP3 just went a little overboard when he remixed it.

Hmm...maybe, it does sound like it, its definitely the same kind of beat. I think I'll play a bit more and see if theres any more...
And in another note, the Fire Emblem 4 soundtrack seems to take straight after the FEG soundtrack since in the remixed intro theme you can hear Levin's Warrior of the Wind theme tune halfway through it and also one of the overworld tunes from FE4.
Its not unusual for Ninty to do cameos now and again, so I wouldn't be surprised if the Gerudo Valley tune was straight from FEG.
Speaking of which...the battle theme is very catchy...

I liked how they brought it back in FE6 as the Trial Map music =) When I first heard it on FE6, I was like "Aww man... this sounds familiar..." After a LONG time of thinking about it, I finally figured out it was the FE Gaiden battle music XD |

The minute I heard the music in FE6, I knew it was from FEG. I don't know about Gerudo Valley being a cameo though. If it was, they might have mentioned it in the credits.

Probably not, they have cameos in lots of Ninty games and rarely mention it. But I thought the FE:Gaiden battle theme was familar never realized they re-used it for FE6.

Song" originally was found on Mario Paint, when on the title screen you clicked the O. The FEG battle music..do you mean the music during a battle between an enemy and a character or the music that plays on the battle maps? I like Alm's battle map music better :^) Last question, what is Trail Maps in FE6? I'd like to hear the FEG battle music in that :^D

My apologies... it was the MAP music that was reused in FE6... NOT the battle music. Once again... I've made myself look like an idiot >.<;;
The trial maps in FE6 are basically just maps that are for "fun"... you can even deploy special units, like Zephir, Hector, and Eliwood. If you go down to the last option on the FE6 menu, and select the first thing... I believe that's where the trial maps are. I think you may have to beat the game before you can get to them though =\
