Okay. I just found out that.....
Hunters, Axemen, and Armor Knights CANNOT promote.
Yes you heard me correctly. I used some cheats to try out some promoting. None of the said classes promoted with the items that they would most likely use to promote.

I read in a faq on Gamefaqs that horsemen are an upgraded form of hunters.

I read in a faq on Gamefaqs that horsemen are an upgraded form of hunters. This entire topic probably only applies to Fire Emblem 1.. which was obviously forgotten to be mentioned by the topic creator. You can promote Hunters to Horsemen, Axemen to nothing(They stay the same) and Armor Knights to Generals in Fire Emblem 3. |

oops. I did know what game it was it's just that the Fire emblem 3 faq for the beginning is alot more helpful then the FE1 Faq. I guess I just didn't realize I was reading the FE3 faq.

Kenshin Zlash's FAQ is somewhat on the poor side. It DOES provide maps of each stage up to 15 though. My FAQ, you have to read with the "Rate" link.
