I usually play RPGs for music. I enjoy listening to Fire Emblem music as well as Final Fantasy music outside gaming as well as within gaming. I love Final Fantasy music the most, as it is most popular among video game music fans, especially outside Japan. My favorite Fire Emblem song is "The Continent Thereafter", from Fire Emblem: Seisen no Keifu. Fire Emblem: Seisen no Keifu has the largest soundtrack of any Fire Emblem game, composed of 114 tracks.
Yuka Tsujiyoko, the composer for the Fire Emblem series, is obviously a female, as I found out on RocketBaby's Interview, and when using Altavista to translate a Japanese site. Her first composition was done when she was in high school, and it was her assignment for a music class. That influence her to become a video game music composer. Tsujiyoko was inspired by her favorite artist Pat Metheny. She also scored Paper Mario, which is known in Japan as Mario Story.
