Since I am an American I never got to play the original. I was wondering if perhaps someone would be nice enough to post some screenthots of it and perhaps a summary of the plot. Thank You!

u could try good ol' fasion google... hahah.. im sure theres plenty a screenshot out there.. try like gamesites that focus on older games.. hahah..

The NES Fire Emblem games weren't a whole lot to look at... just as a bit of forewarning. They look especially scary when you're used to the later FE games (like I was o_o;;).

www.google.comTry that link. (J)(J)(J)Sorry but due to copyright laws thats all the help we can possibly give for you. Its easy enough to use and it also comes in handy for all kinds of things. I hope I have given you enough hints and happy searching  (J)(J)(J)Anyhow screenshots. Really for the NES games you don't want to bother! The graphics were bearly functional. In battles there were NO BACKDROPS just plain black (which is unimpressive even for the NES). The portrtaits and even the character artworks are enough to make to make erm, someone dead roll over in their grave. Speaking of character art I belive Rpg gamer has some lying round. Use the Link I showed you earlier on in the post if you are having troubles finding the site. Thankfully nobody cared about the crappy graphics and it became an instant hit with rippoffs being made (Shining False, Front mission etc)...
