Once my volcanon/borganon went to Sety cos his dad was Azel. And Tornado went to Leaf and the second game I gave it to Tinny. I think my Arthur always sucks if he doesn't have a skill or ring to make him attack more than once, same with Lester...when Lester had Continue I loved him!!!

In my humble opinion, Arthur's biggest problem is the low limits imposed by his class. I haven't seen any of his stats go higher than 22... (at level 30, of course) |

I just checked my Arthur and it's true, the highest was 22...

in fact, 22 is as high as he will ever get. of course, if you change Arthur's promotion into sage, he'll get 30... or 27 if darkprince <evil smirk>. i really hate mage knight caps, like a lord knight carbon copy (without a Tirfing clone to compensate for). that's why some ppl give Arthur THE Holsety. i think FE4's stat caps are still pretty well balance as they are.

actually i lied  i can't stand the stat caps of FE4. the axe/great knights need more speed and skill, seeing as their axes are heavy 'n not very accurate. more speed for spear/duke knights also. mage knights at least have more weapon choice to go around their stat caps. as for lord knight... <shrug> Tirfing will suffix. the only thing you can do to your CERTAIN duke knight is giving him a thin lance. i found Finn to be really useful with one, especially if it has 50+ kills on it. which is hard to get, but seeing as you are a Finn addict... ^^;; |

I kinda figured a Hero's Lance with 50+ kills is more than insane enough. XD Thanks for the tip, though.
Just an addict? ^_~ Finn-sama would be so surprised in his chair. Ahem.
EDIT : Whoops, we posted at about the same time. Yes, I couldn't bear to part the Hero's Lance from Finn. XD
Except when he had kids, of course. That's when Fury gets a loan, since Delmud being Delmud......he probably wouldn't know what to do with a *spear* and would probably let Lester pawn it off to pay for his bar tabs.

(I didn't hack, by the way.) oh, i mean, mage knight's skill and speed are capped at 22. magic is 25 max. for comparision, lord knight caps are 22 for speed 'n skill, 25 for strength. same sh*t, different smell (physical 'n magic smells that is mwahahahah) in fact Azel (and his son) get very speed indeed. if you pair Azel with Fury, Sety as Azel's son still max speed at 30. of course, Arthur maxes at 22, which sucks. i reckon, we should make a patch (as a FE4 standard) fixing all stat caps for FE4; lord knight 'n mage knight are prioritized <hint hint> *Edit: i mean a thin lance to compensate for the low speed cap of duke knight; had Finn had Continue it'd make him hit as if he is using hero lance. |

Azel is cool and he's got the name of one of my characters... I paired Azel with Fury and that was the only Sety I liked.

Honestly, I gave Finn's Hero Spear to Fury and left it with Fee. Cuan's well-used Silver Spear went with the Lovable Lanceknight of Lenster, and at 50+ kills turned him into a terrifying machine. About the only things he had to watch for were holy weapons and the pegasus sisters in the epilogue.
