Since this has become an Ayra pairing discussion. . . I've always paired her with Holin. Partially, I somehow get the opinion it's a little more appropriate, story-wise, and partially it's to avoid tying down a cavalry unit with a slower infantry unit. Holin and Ayra move at the same rate, which makes pairing them up and marching them around together much easier. I frankly don't see Holin as more story-appropriate, but I think that's largely due to having read the Osawa manga. Holin never shows up, which is disappointing, but the Lex/Ayra romance is done fabulously well. |

Yep, if I remember right, you can have it if Janne (Nanna's sub) visits one of the villages near Lenster, at Chapter 7. It gives +7 pts on MDEF, if I'm correct. Well someone else tried it and it seems that it was Leilia (Leen's sub) who is supposed to visit the village. And my Skasaher did not get any high magic attack at all, they were 6 and 4. I just like him with magic swords. |

*sheepish grin* I'll admit that I don't like doing Ayra x Hollin because it bores me to tears. And Lex x Ayra has just as much, if not more, story possibilities. Here Ayra is falling in love with a cynic who's possibly a not-so-well-liked bastard, whose family pretty much went to crush her country under its heels.
I'll take that over a runaway childhood sweetheart story any day. XD

I don't like Ayra and Holyn, I think Holyn needs to redo his hair... Lex is okay. But I like Noish with Ayra the most.

Heh, couldn't believe how quick it was to get Ayra and Lex together after the Hero Sword talk. I barely placed the two together in the previous two chapters!

The thing I don't like about Ayra x Holin is that their kids get both Ryuuseiken and Gekkouken, and (correct me if I'm wrong) only one skill gets activated at once. Ryuusei > Gekkou, no?

Aice: Yeah, only one can activate at once. That doesn't necessarily mean it's bad to have both, though... having the two doesn't stifle the chances of triggering them..

I'm not inclined to argue if you've looked at the code or anything, but anecdotal evidence indicates to me that Sukasa tends to get Moonlight Hit more often, while Lakche trends towards Starlight Hit. I just assumed that the male child used the father's skill more often, and the female child used her mother's. Again, this is purely based on experience gained in a couple of play-throughs, so it's not conclusive.

Moonlight may only have a chance of activating when Meteor doesn't, but if you don't have Moonlight then nothing has a chance of activating when Meteor doesn't  According to the godly flowcharts at Pegasus Knight, it goes something like this... If Meteor triggers, test for Yuusha Sword. If yes - If Yuusha Sword, ten hits - If not, 5 hits If no - Test for Solar or Moonlight (impossible to have both...) - Test for Continue - - If triggers, two hits + effect if triggered - - If not, one hit + effect if triggered |

Ah, there's a Yuusha check in there as well if Continue doesn't trigger. I missed that somehow.
...why can't Yuusha and Continue both take effect, I wonder...?
I know that I didn't look at the general board for a few months after I started coming here.
