Ok.. hha. heres a picture i drew of Yuritu. Hes an original character of mine, who i am doing a manga on.. The manga isnt started, but i have a plot.. Well anyways.. Here he is... My apologies for picture size.. hahahaha.. Its kinda big.. members.dxlab.com/abiondi/yuritu.jpg |

Hey, you're doing a manga! So am I! I'm working on it right now, and the story's pretty intresting. It's about two characters, Lena Rayieyth and Miyugo Tainen. It's starts out with a 20 year war and... Anyway, I think you need a little work on Yuritu's face and hands, but I love the coloring! ;D Yuritu's looks sort of reminds me of the game Golden Sun.

hahaha. cool ^_^ im not starting my manga until i improve my art a bit.. ahha.. but if ud like me to post the story id be happy to do so.. ;D just let me know

awesome coloring and I like the idea too, but the head of the staff is a bit...you know... small, no offense o.O

The colouring looks fine. I guess you used a soft edged brush to do all the shadings? Try using a hard edged one. It can give the picture a more painting feel.
Also I think his head looks a bit skinny and the fingers don't look quite right. The outfit looks nice though.

Woooh... cool =) The head is a little bit thin... but I guess it gives a unique-style to the drawing, so I find nothing wrong with it =D The right hand... umm, kinda doesn't look right for some reason... I just can't quite figure out why... And I know the staff's not supposed to be there, but making the head of the staff bigger as makurayami said would definately improve it. I'm not sure... but perhaps moving the staff up farther in his hand might be better (I dunno... that's just my opinion ^_^) I love the coloring too ^_^ Was that done on PC or by hand? Wow... so many people starting mangas =D I'd like to see it. I envy the skilled artists. I can come up with characters okay, but I'm usually not good at drawing them  ;; If I could draw, I could make a dozen mangas... I got character designs and basic plot down for most of my ideas =) I think the story I posted here on FESS (it's under the thread named "Well, I don't know where else to put it...") would make an excellent manga. All I gotta do is learn how to draw better =( |
