Its a cool anime at we got last month in Adult Swim along with Tenchi Muyo and Trigun.
No one else seems to have heard of it. Any of you seen it?

You just got Trigun and Tenchi?
Poor thing. We had Tenchi in 2000, and we got Trigun sometime last year . . . I think.

Well, we got Tenchi, Orphen and Trigun as the new adult swim lineup in August. It replace Cowboy Bebop, Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040, and Gasaraki.
I live in Australia so we don't have Rurouni Kenshin, Inyuasha, Yu Yu Hakusho or any of that good anime you guys talk about.
I guess you guys got those, and we got Orphen. Not complaining much though, I do like Orphen.

Ya. I know of Orphen. Its a funny little anime. Too bad about the game. (Orphen:Scion of Sorcery PS2)

I've seen a few episodes of Orphen...even though I didn't see them all or fully know the plot...it's still one of my favorites.

Alright, I'll outline what I know about Orphen.
Ah the main character, Orphen, duh, is a black sorcerer who left the Tower of Fang (Magic school) after his friend and fellow student Azelie was turned into the Bloody August ( a dragon). He had know Azelie since he was 5 and they were like family as both of them had met in the same orphanage. Azelie was a brilliant sorceress and had a passion to learn more. By doing so, she attempted an experiment using the Sword of Baltanders and accidently turned herself into a dragon.
The Tower of Fang was willinging to kill the Bloody August as they believed that there was no way to bring Azelie back. Orphen knew that he could do it and by left the Tower.
Basically, Orphen's trying to turn Azelie back into a person and the Tower of Fang is trying to stop him. I haven't seen very much of it, only about the 6-7 episodes. It heaps good so far.
I've heard about the game. I've heard its crap. Have no intention of playing it anytime soon.

Believe me...you do not want to play the game. The controls are horrbile and hearing Orphen scream "HAND OF PYRO" every friggin second in battle makes you wanna kill that motormouth.

Dark Link, The austrailian anime channel whose name i forget runs kenshin because a girl i know from the phillipines recorded it.
Ive seen the second series of Orphen. Its about how some cute girl summons him to do something then it turns out its something else and it involves an old guy, weird girl with piano and evil green hair girl.
Its been a while, lol.

I'm positive that we don't have Kenshin. The only chanels that have anime are Cartoon Network and Cheez TV. CTV only shows the anime that everyone can watch and from what I've seen/heard of Kenshin, its pretty violent. SO I doubt they would have it on.
The second series of Orphen's called revenge or something isn't. Don't know much about it. I've only heard the name.
Anyways, Orphen got really good last night. We're actually getting into the story now which is heaps cool. Hartia's alterego is funny. Shrimp boy lol!

Well, you're not missing much. This week's episode will be the 12th and only about 3 of the episodes so far have had story. The rest have just been fillers consisting of nothing but Ryoko and Aiyaka fighting over Tenchi.
