The original ones, or the card game (the newer cards, I hated the first ones) designs?

uh... I'm making a fan game(Sigma Fantasy- look at my avatar) with charachters from various series. One of those series is Fire Emblem 4.
And, now, the question : which designs do you prefer, their old in-game looks from FE4, or their new looks from the card game?
The choosen one will be used in my game.

You mean character portraits? I'd be wary of the pallette tho.

Not only their charachter portraits, the battle sprites will be different too. Just look at Sigurd. In-game, he has blue armor. In the card game, he has a small dark armor, white shirt and blue pants.
Huh... no one replied yet... What's the problem? Should I rewrite the question?

^I'd go with the card game design. It doesn't really matter as long as the game is playable! But at least on the cards you can see the colours more better. I think.
