Well it depends on how you look at it. I mean I wouldn't say that description is bad or anything. It is pretty accurate, BUT NOT 100% accurate. They should add that FE has a HUGE amounts of RPG elements to that sentence and I think that's the best way to sum it up.

It isn't a bad thing at all. FE IS a lot like AW with a medieval setting, yes. But it also has plenty RPG elements, character development, etc.
I don't see what's to get so upset about. =P

Yeah thes games have diffrences but they are T-RPG. Yeah this man is a little ignorant, but most of people don't know FE but they know AW, so they can have an idea of FE.

Well, while we are talking, which is easier, Advance Wars 1 & 2, or Fire Emblem 7: Rekka no Ken?

Yeah AW is harder and the AI is smarter, but I thought everyone said the AW2 harder mode was even harder than the first one?

Yeah AW is harder and the AI is smarter, but I thought everyone said the AW2 harder mode was even harder than the first one? Look what i just copied out an FAQ: The Hard Campaign of Advance Wars 2 is very different from the Advanced Campaign of the original Advance Wars. While many missions have additional, more powerful enemy units (as in Advanced Campaign of Advance Wars), the Hard Campaign of Advance Wars 2 often gives the player additional, more powerful units to combat those of the enemy - instead of downgrading allied units. Also different from Advanced Campaign, map layouts of Campaign missions are often subject to rearrangement and change in Hard Campaign. Complete missions have also been discarded and others inserted, specifically those on the Orange Star continent. Finally, the Power and Technique categories can no longer be taken for granted. Oh and it suppopsedely its absolute hell towards the end but most of advance 2 on Normal isn't at all Challenging to get S ranks on (On every map so Far I've got S with the exception of 3 being Bs because i'm lazy. i'm up to the last map right now). So in terms of difficulty to get an S rank on Normal modes here goes: Fire Emblem 6 (I have got an A without trying but no S) Fire Emblem 7 (I lose speed by very little 400 turns for christ sake, what a C and some idiot power leveling could get that). Advance Wars. Advance Wars 2 (easy ratings) As for Hard modes: Fire Emblem 5-The normal game is so hard this doesn't need a hard mode. SSS rank is probably impossible to get. I'd need a big gap for the rest of it. Mediveil advance wars is a good impression of how it will play in laymens terms. enemy Uses meteror strike.

Does FE5 have a hard mode? I sure hope not. :P
I got an A in my first complete playthrough of FE6 too. Shows you how easy that game is. :P

There's an elite mode in FE5 but that just lets you gain exp even faster. Yet there's a down side to it since you gain levels so fast you might not have enough good scrolls with you to take advantage of it.
