I think the Armads problem can be chalked up to one thing : Lazy research on the translator's part. It happens a whole lot in translating, which is why I'm so psycho about it in FE4.

Sigh. I really wish you'd THANK the guys who translated the game and brought it to the US. Unless you just don't want it in the US over a few name changes. Seriously people. Yeesh. The same thing that happened to Tales Of is going to happen here... the bringers get bitched at too much for a few translations and the series dies here.... ugh. Armads is just as good as Almace.

Never mind, anyway we will cope with the Silly names, it reminds me of the Ice climbers stage in Smash bros (the thing wou were fighter were pengunins but they are now yeti things). Its always good to have a laugh at, like today I said "remember to put two ls on will" .

Hey, can't we like the game, like the translation, and reserve the right to bitch at whatever is wrong? It's not like we're going to file a letter to Nintendo or something. And I thought ToS's coming over? And Armads isn't as good as the Almace. They got the Durandal right. It's from the same legend, or at least, the legends are from the same region. France. You'd expect some equality here. |

We're not REALLY bitching... just sorta bitching. Like Summerwolf said it's a head scratching decision. Why did they keep Durandal but changed Almace?

Yeah, that's pretty weird.
Tales of Symphonia is coming. There's no date yet though. Apparently Tales of Destiny II is as well... but it's going to be called Tales of Destiny .......III.
