I dont know if anyone ask or there is a topic like this before.........but in the japanese game, did lyn have a different animation when using sol katti?......cause in the american version she looks different......

Yeah, I noticed that she had a special animation for the Sol Katti...and I don't remember there being one in the japanese version.

But the critical animation. Youv'e just got to worship that.
Seeing at the lateness of the topic either:
A)You didn't notice the hidden part of my post in weapons topic.
B)You took me seriously when I said keep it queiet.
The Cricial animation makes the Sol Kati JUST worth using but its still way too Heavy.
And for Lyn heres a Brick. I know it isn't quite the divine general weapon you were hoping for...

Pfah. My Lin was fine with any weapon. Her speed and skill maxed easily. :D :D :D

I had such a cool finish to the game with that weapon. 36 HP left, Lin doing 9 damage twice with about 1/3 crit chance, she attacked once normally and then got a critical hit.

I keep trying but I never seem to finish the last boss with a crit. Stupid dragon putting my crit to Zero.

Eh? Doesn't the Sol Katti gives 20 crit against that dragon?

...What level was your Lin at?
I can't remember the critical the Sol Kati gives, but Lin + anything had a decent critical rate. =P

I was a level 20 Blade Lord. I don't know why my crit was 0 though....maybe because my Lyn's stat growth was crap that time. Anway, when I got the Lin+Eliwood ending my crit was pretty high during the fight whith the Dragon. Then again, she did max out everything except Magic resistence and Luck.

That Dragon just is really good at negating criticals, I'm not sure which stat helps prevent criticals but my Lyn was at least lvl-16/17 at the time and she also got a 0% crictical.
Besides....who needs Lyn?
I always finish it with Eliwood, Canas or Barthol or Hector.

Canas pulled off a critical on the dragon with the Luna.

High luck helps against criticals. And it boosts..er, your own chance of getting critical.
I heard stories of Lyn criticaling against the dragon with the Sol Kati though. I'm not there yet in the English version, but in the Japanese I believe it was Lucea, Nino, Eliwood and Hector who finished him off. =P

My game was like...
Lyn (was in love with Eli. Yar) - Criticals on dragon. HP drops.
Eliwood. Moves in to attack. HP drop.
Hector. Moves in to attack. Hp drops.
Dragon not dead yet.
Priscilla uses Libro wand on Eliwood.
Nilus does his stuff. Eliwood gets another go. Dragon dies.
