I know basically how the support system in FE7 works, but it doesn't apply to all characters. Is Ninian one of them? For the life of me, no matter how many turns I wait or battles I fight, I can't get her to have a support convo with Eliwood or anybody else for that matter. (Anyone else being Hawkeye and whatshisface) What does it take? In any case, it's too late now, since she's dead... ¬_¬ *kicks Eliwood*

I heard Ninian and Eliwood grows the fastest. I never counted though but I never felt it was any faster. Also you can't have 2 supports chats(with the same person) in the same chapter. Maybe your Ninian already had a chat with Eliwood before? If so you have to wait till next chapters.

Well heres the supports system....
C support- 81 points B support- 161 points A support- 241 points
You gain so many points depending on the people involved growth everytime they attack the same enemy and also for every turn they're next to each other.
Eliwood and Ninnian start off with 0 points...but they have the fastest growth of 5 points per turn but it seems slow since they start at nothing and also Ninnian can't attack. But really you can get them to A level in only 50 turns and if you think about it thats really easy...
As I'm aware all of Ninnian's suport starts at 0 but she has a +5 for Eliwood, +4 for Florina and +3 for Hawkeye so shes generally got very fast growth.
Although thats the highest GROWTH in the game, the highest base support points is Lyn and Florina who start with 76 points and gain +4 every turn.
As for lowest base points and growth in the game I believe that goes to these following people who all start with 0 points and only gain +1.
-Hector x Farina -Sain x Isadora -Sain x Louise -Jaffar x Matthew (what were you expecting?) -Guy x Louise (but they only go upto a B support) -Kent x Farina -Dorcus x Farina -Bartre x Raven -Bartre x Renault -Wil x Raven -Serra x Florina -Geitz x Fiora -Karelx Lucius -Vaida x Merlinus -Legault x Isadora -Louise x Heath -Vaida x Harken
Those are the hardest to make pairs in the game, you'll need them to be next to each other for over 241 turns. Except for Louise and Guy who only go upto a B conversation.

Seti, I don't undersantd. So for gain some points, either the two characters finished the turn side by side, or those two characters must attack the same ennemy ?

To gain points they must be next to each other at the end of the turn...
Attacking the same enemy with 2 characters just gives you a bonus.
For example.
You attack an enemy but don't kill him with Matthew than finish with Jaffar with maybe a Light sword a space away and they are next to each other when you finish. You would gain +1 point for them being next to each other and a extra +1 for having them team up on an enemy making it +2
Also for units who can't attack....
I've found that if the enemy engages in battle with a unit who cannot fight...
eg. Mercenary attacks Priscilla
Than say Raven kills that merc....
Its still counted as teaming up on an enemy and this is the riskier but faster way to build support between units who cannot fight.

Yes, if two characters ALREADY HAVE support and are within three squares of each other, they will get boosts like that when they attack. Attacking the same enemy doesn't enable this, nor does it increase support.

I screwed up on the teaming up bit, I just double checked......doesn't work like that.... But theres still something wierd going on because I've had some characters build support well before there set ammount of turns so theres something influencing it....

Some pairs gain more than one support point per turn. Like... Hector and Eliwood start off with 72 support points on the very first turn, then gain 3 every turn after that. So you get their C after four turns. =P Ninian/Eliwood is 0/5, so they don't start off with support points but gain 5 every turn, so that one is still fast. It varies, anywhere from one support point per turn together to five.#nosmileys
