Galzus was a Mecenary from FE5 (equivilent of the Hero class) who puts even FE6 Karel, FE7 Hector, Fa and most of the Multiple Holy Blood characters in FE4 to shame and quite literally destroys their collected asses... I mean he could even turn Sety with Holsety into a bloody decapitated mess.. SETY WITH HOLSETY FOR CRYING OUT LOUD THATS INSANE! yeah you see him early his stats don't look like much but the game balances that out by one making his kill you rate 99 percent skill usage retty damn high his evade holy he beats sety on it and equipment eep sucker can solo a chapter by himnself easylty

I think that's Sword SAINT Karel there, not Sword Demon, so it may explain he's looks.

I'm pretty sure it's the Sword Saint version. Considering the other pics on the site have him with FE6 characters (mainly Rutger), well...

Hmm I still say the black haired guy is Shiva. For one thing both Karel and Galzus had similar hair color.

Hmm...living in an FE world...well, I'd like to live in Ostia cause in Marcus and Merlinus's supports, it's mentioned that Ostia makes some good pastries, and Gunlord is a man who <3s his pastries I would like to bring up something. Ostia, Lycia, Etruria, Ilia (Not sure about Ilia...) and several of the places in Fire Emblem existed. Ostia was a city in Italy around the Tiber River. It was a porting city that started around 7 century BC and declined 3 Century AD. Lycia was located more towards Turkey, in the southwest Asia Minor on the Aegean Sea. It was ruled by Persia and Syria, and eventually was taken by Rome, in the first century AD Etruria was an ancient country of west-central Italy. That would be Tuscany and parts of Umbria, today. It was where the Etruscan civilization started, a civilization which spread throughout Italy. It was supplanted by Rome in the 3 century BC. By the way, the Etrurians spoke a non-Indo-European language. Ilia must have been Troy, another ancient city, this time, northwest of the Asia Minor, near the Dardanelles. It was the legendary site of the Trojan War and was destroyed by Greek forces, circa 1200BC. Ilium, also Ilion, was another name for Troy, and the poet Homer's story, the Iliad came from the Latin stem, Iliad, which came from the Greek word Ilias, "Of Troy." Ilias is in the genetive case then. I haven't studied Greek but I do believe the nominative case would be either "Ilia" or "Ilio." Tuscana may have been Tuscany. From what I know, the Romans liked to make the names of places feminine, so Tuscana would've been expected. Now, if you were to actually go to Ostia today, you'll find ruins. How disappointing. And what's more, is that Fire Emblem's map is a bit distorted. Ostia is in Lycia, where in reality, its very far away. Oh, before I forget, Caelin is probably "Caelian", one of the seven hills of ancient Rome. This was the most southeasterly of the hills, and it was very populated until it was devastated by fire in 27AD... So...Fire Emblem must have taken place in Europe...that explains why they look so similar...but, the people don't like they're of European decent...more Asian. Now, if I were going to Ostia...I'd go for...Lilina... ;D

Meh, not everyone in FE looks Asian to me. If anyone, I'd say the Sacaeians look most Asian...

Wow, we learned a lot of things about FE names inspiration, that's cool. About the art, I think too it's Sword Saint version of Karel and not Shiva: - Karel's got a black suit under his vest, and Shiva's one is purple. Or on this fanart, the suit is black. - Shiva's vest is brown and Karel's vest is blue, and on this fanart the vest is blue. - Shiva on the official artwork is left-handed - Shiva's vest has got bandages on the sleeves, and for Karel sleeves are wide..... Like on the picture.

The Sacaens are *supposed* to look Asian. Sacae is considered the "East" of Elibe. But really, most the others characters look European to me. Nergal looks a little Mid Eastern, but it might be because of that goofy turban he wears. And for some reason, the Morphs strike me as Spanish.... o.O

The Morphs do kind of remind me of Spanish people, except how pale they are. And Nergal.. well, never thought about it, but it might just be the turban. =P
