Ummm... I assume the new picture in your sig is the Rath and Lyn pic you're talking about? It's very nice but seems a little out of character that's all. Rath just don't seem like the guy to go around necking a girl.

Yes, so do I. They're my favorite FE7 pairing thus far.

(On that note, don't mind the LynRath avatar. It's the CrossEmpire pic, which I made an avatar in a moment of insanity. I'm probably going to remove it, I don't want people to think it's my fanart or anything. -_-;;;)

The pairing totally makes sense, too. I mean, Lyn is extremely proud of her Sacae heritage. There's no way she would end up with a noble, particularly one as down-to-earth as Eliwood.

But I like the avatar. ^_^ Just put the link to it in your sig or something so you don't get yelled at by the artist. (I yoinked the pic myself, though I'm not putting it in my galleries or anything)

Wow, I thought I was the only one who couldn't get used to the idea of EliLyn. The Sacaeian pride is just one thing that made me put her with Rath - another is that I think she's the first thing in a hell of a long time that makes Rath really feel, well, not alone. I do hear EliLyn gets her to face her Lycian heritage though, so I guess who Lyn goes with depends on what direction people want to see her go in. Though she never stays in Caelin.... =P

Yeah, I put it in my sig before I did the avatar and it's still there. I'm gonna leave it there, I just need to decide on a new avatar. ;)

Besides, I like CrossEmpire too much to pass off any of the webmistress' stuff as my own. I save fanarts all the time so I never have to keep looking them up online whenever I want to see them. ;)

Yeah, her work's good, but she has one too many of those making-out pics...

But anyways! Back to Lyn and Rath. I definitely noticed that Lyn changes Rath. He's a completely different person around her (not to mention he actually talks), and he really does care for her safety. You can tell she thinks a lot of him, too, because she's always happy to be around him and wants to fight at his side. (She's pretty darn glad when he returns with that Ostian mercenary group). Eliwood's too...proper for her. Too well-kept. On the other end of the spectrum, Hector's too brutish and blunt. But Rath is right at her level, allowing for perfect chemistry.

Lyn and Hector do amuse me though, and I was sooner to pair her with him than with Eliwood.... though Rath remains my number one choice. It seems like with some Sacaeians (Rath, Sin), you stick them with the right person and they'll never shut up (Lin/Rath, Sin/Sue), but normally they're quite closed off (Rath/Guy, Sin/Fir or most of his supports).

And anyway... Lyn and Rath both know where the other is coming from. Even if he still seems somewhat... not entirely open in their A (the daydreaming thing, the 'Fine.. if you insist' in the end), he's probably not that good with sharing feelings? Still, he marries her in the end. And I love that CG from when they first meet... I think they made quite an impression on each other. =P

I must say... Sacae would probably be my first choice to go in their world... ;)

that country would be first on my list is becasue all swordfighter seem to come from there and what really made a impression was the just kill the assaisn and then talk
