How good was I playing?

I started a game in my 1 empty slot. I am a new person to this game as well. Now, how good was I playing if I didn't lose a character up until chapter 17? I'm just wondering.

well, Eliwood01, just look at your GameRankings...if you have 5 stars at every stat, then you r pretty good!

Don't forget most of us already beat the Japanese version so we know what to expect.

Generally if you can get 5's in everything except funds a 3-5 will do. You're pretty good.

If all 5's in Hector Hard route than welcome to the higher ranks.

Usually I end with 5's in EXP, Combat, and Survival, but I usually get 3's on Tactics and Funds.

I guess I'm one of the 10%...I reset about....2-5 times through a playthrough (completed Eliwood route twice and Hector route twice). But I make sure everyone is alive for the ending, and I reset usually because of the same character dying.

i think its a bit harder to get all 5 stars in EliwoodsHard route, especially in Exp, coz you get 6.25% less exp in every chapter, and in eliwoods route there aren't s such much highlevel enemies as in hectors route..however the "fond" problem wont be there anymore, since you have the Silver Card and can go buy the most expensive stuffs to get more stars..

I tend to get a 5 in everything and then a 3 in funds. I suppose I use up weapons too much? XD Oh well.. I'll have a silver card next time. =P

I usually get:

**** Tactics
***** Survival
*** Funds
**** Exp
***** Combat

I reset every time a non-storage character dies.

I get 3's in funds and tactics because I like buying and using Physic staves (thankfully I possess the Silver Card :^). They give nice exp. to Priscilla and Serra, and they use it often just to get exp. I'm also getting more support conversations, so my tactics rating will likely drop to 2 (assuming that Tactics is based upon how quickly you beat maps...I'm never quite sure)

I restarted a bunch of times in my original file, and this time around I was able to get up to Ch. 17 before one of my characters died. For a first timer I guess I pretty much sucked, right?

well the weapon arent that important i think, they arent that expensive like the Stat-increase-items and promotion items...im on my way at eliwoods route to get them all(stars)...but still there are two stars missing at "exp" and im already at chapter 26...that will be close... ><
Edit: well ok..expect for rapier and wolf Beil, make sure you tank them full again with an Hammerne, and of course, you have to keep the stuff you bought with the silver card... XD
