I just got to the part of the game where you get to use the Sol Katti for the first time and I'm like WTF when I see Lyn attack. I beat the in Japanese a while back and the sprites for her attack are different. So I thought it was just my memory being messed up but I just checked the Japanese Version and attacked with the Sol Katti and the attack was the same as a regular weapon. So my question is was the attack always like that or did Nintendo change it for the American Version? I was wondering because the sprites don't look right. Sorry if ths has been asked before.

i made a topic like this before...hehe  ;D and yea, they did change it, in the american version......i personally thinks it looks like crap. |

It seems like a rush job on the attack and the sprites aren't that great. Toasty (Atos I call him Toasty) said it was the sister sword of the Mani Katti and if that's the truth it should at least be the same size. When I first attacked with it I was like "wtf is that big sword?!" But hey Lyn is great no matter what she does.

...the size is ok, if you look at its weight! ^-^, and do you guys have against this sprite..the critical hit is one of the best i think...

I wonder who decided to add the extra animation for us US gamers. Could it be NOA, or Intelligent System? Maybe they didn't have enough time for it in the Japanese version so they decided to add it to the US version.

it looks like a raiper to me Not a rapier. That's a saber guard. A rapier rarely has a full cup hilt guard like that. And she uses it for slashing, which again implies the saber. Rapiers and Epees are almost EXCLUSIVELY for stabbing. They're virtually worthless otherwise. If anything, I think it's a saber. |
