And not to mention, he spent HOURS figuring a certain thing in Sword of Mana which the game told you about in five minutes. Even if it's the Japanese build and he can't read it (which I don't think so. English screenies have been floating round), it's VERY EASY to figure out with a little experimentation.
And the heroine holds herself in fight rather well after a few levels taken in Fighter and Thief, too.

I linked and mentioned both things (the 3rd battle, and the Sword of Mana thing Summer mentioned) in my LJ. it got a lot of interesting comments.
Both must have been English, as he played them at NoA's head plant.. place in Washington.
May I also not-so-humbly point out that this, folks, is the OWNER of RPGamer? I present to you Mr. Mikel Tidwell, who is not exactly known for his common sense, writing skills or leadership skills (at the site). And to whoever said RPGamer's standards must be low is an understatement.
Being registered on their forums, I went to the thread on the article and made a choice comment or two. I was nice I suppose,. but....

Kyuusei... you did NOT mention Hector. You didn't talk about the rock, scissor, paper thing either. Unless I clicked on the wrong preview... which is impossible seeing how there's only one.

I don't think I actually SAID 'rock, paper and scissors', but there's the 'this beats that' stuff. I mentioned Hector's game somewhere I'm pretty sure.
Who cares. I'm writing a US review anyway. :P#nosmileys
