In various cutscenes, I see this green guy in a cloak. Does anybody know who this is and what their class is!? This really isn't THAT important... it's just kinda bugging me...

If I'm not mistaken, that green chara is really YOU traveling with the troupe. And your class would be... I guess, advisor... meh, whatever.

It's not a character who fights in the battle. Remember when you input all that stuff when you start a game? (name, gender, blood type) ..That's the character. All they really do is be a 'strategist/advisor/tactician/whatever', hence being named after the player or whatever the player chooses. :P

I THOUGHT that's who it was! Doesn't it strike anybody as odd that they're not blue? Meh... oh well.
BTW, thanks for the info. I always skip the cutscenes since I can't understand them anyway... but I always notice... "myself" there...

If you watch the cutscenes Lin talks to 'you' quite a bit. And she introduces you to the recruits and stuff like that. Heh. It's kinda weird, but it's part of the in-game tutorial. *shrug*

BUT it is not entirely "stupid" you choose to paly as an advisor...why?

The advisor's a NPC that's why he's green. All NPCs are green.

I know NPCs are green... they are in every other FE game. I'm just wondering why? I mean, if you're on Lin's/Eliwod's/Hector's side, then why be an NPC? Shouldn't the advisor be blue!? Am I the only one bothered by this crap!?

Yeah you probaly are, anyway I think the reason WHY you aren't blue is simple, you don't fight, not all green things fight.

I guess that might be true... but what about the Sisters from the earlier FE games? They didn't technically fight... they healed. Unless that counts... if it does, I understand...
