does anyone know y? or how i can turn it off? they move at the 'fast' movement speed. its very annoying!

did you changed the setting on speed of moving??
it's the second option in the setting

the enemies move at normal speeds......my characters move extremely fast ( like almost instantly ) for the first 3 squares, then slows down to normal. i was playin the first level for Lin and i could see its movement gradually slow down,  |

try not to press A while ur character's moving...

i don't press A at all. in fact if i pressed B it slowed down to normal...but it normally still moves realli fast! its like teleportation!

I like them moving faster personally. Especially in a chapter with a lot of units on both sides. I've fallen asleep once, waiting for about 40 enemy units to move, before turning on that option. :P

i really am stumped here...maybe your skip rate settings? speed up button pressed?

Press and HOLD the A button and everyone will move fast. Did anyone ever noticed that in FE3, if you're character's speed is high, they'll also move faster on the maps?
