Yes, That's definitely Roland. He's one of the eight legendary heroes of the Scouring. After the war against the Dragons, he had founded Lycia where the three lords Eliwood, Lyn and Hector were born. Thus the reason Athos had referred to them as the children of Roland. He also appears in the game briefly after Eliwood gets the Durandal.

The pic at the beginning of the game is sorta, but not really. I have seen pictures of 4 of the heroes, though (Durbans, Bramimond, Roland, Athos)

Elimine is a Famous bishop who founded a major religion, looked good, and fought in the scouring. I think Elimine looks like Louise.

i don't recall seeing Elimine either. not the face, not even a vague figure... though i do remember that Elimine is said to be all good lookin' and scouring fighting. any pic or such? i remember Elimine is a "she" also...

Roland - Founded Lycia. Wielded Durandal
Hartmut - Founded Bern. Wielded Exaccus and supposively the Sword of Seals
Barrigan - Famous knight of Ilia. Wielded Malte.
Durban - Founded a Clan in the Western Isles. Wielded Armads
Hannon - Famous in Sacae. Wielded Muirge
Athos - Duh. Wielded Forblaze.
Elimine - Founded the Major Religon on Elibe. Wielded Aroule.
Braimmond - Was taken over by the Dark Magics and held the seals on the Divine Weapons for some time. Wielded Apocalypse

Harutmut wielded the Exaccus? Didn't know that...I do know that on the Sword of Seals description it says "Sword of Harutmut" but on the Exaccus it says Zephyr only...  |
