Well, at least as a fan feedback I suppose. Back when Soul Calibur 2 was being released, Namco and E teams were polling people for the next Nintendo exclusive character(s) when the next installement of the Soul series(because it may even change names from soul calibur, to something else, as it did before). Interestingly enough, Fire emblem was a category of choice. Due to our rising popularity in Marth in Roy, it seemed they were going to be pickable fighters in the next one. Well, sort of, sice they hinted more towards the "Upcoming American Fire Emblem!" then, in which they reported it may be the heroes/other characters making it in the next one from FE7. The thing is, they may be adding up to 3 Fire Emblem characters to the next one, due to Gamecube's high Soul Calibur sales, and even make it an exclusive!
Well, who wouldn't be excited?! I was, and still am! I want Guy(...not likelyto be there, though)! I know alot about it sinse I was a member back then, and tried competing in the Soul Edge sword contest, and lost(an admin won, now tell me THAT wasn't fixed!). Well go ahead, have fun! Who do you want in it?

It is most probably going to have any of these:
Marth, Roy, Eliwood, Hector, and Lyn.
Where did you get this information?

As stated above, I was part of the promotion team for Soul Calibur two, giving me somewhat an inside taste of things to come, and this is what came up. I even knew the news of the Soul Calibur movie four months before it was announced! THAT is inside scoopin'! This was nothin', it was a casual discusion, and most wanted Marth and Roy. Then someone more knowledgeable comes along and wants Navarru(Navahl) or Lyndis, or Eliwood, and we had no idea what they were saying! Funny now when I look back on it...

How about they scrap this whole 'Let's put Fire Emblem characters in games. So what if everyone knows next to nothing about.' (Well we know it now)
They should make a Fire Emblem fighting game for the GCN. Something like SCII or SSBM. Some chacracters can wield certain weapons that you can buy. And if you win enough using a certain character, they upgrade. Throw in the whole weapon level thing to determine what weapons can be used and even throw in the weapon triangle, you do more damage to characters with the disadvantageous weapon. Maybe even let them get stronger or something. Maybe Criticals too?
Wow. *Calls Nintendo to take credit for this idea*

Screw Eliwood and Roy. I would kill to see Lyn in a Soul Calibur type of fighting game. She'd fit in well. <3 Hector wouldn't be a bad choice either.
Lyn, Lyn... 3D Lyn. Lyn's moves in 3D... Her criticals... O_O *dies*

True, but what are the chances that it will be as good as Soul Calibur? That is pretty much the best fighting game ever made, ang I'd be VERY happy to see that. Yes, Nintendo makes great fighters, like SSBM, but SCII is about top of the class, and the idea is on the table. I highly doubt they'll just pick up an idea from one of us. I say, take what you can get.

Well SSBM and SC2 are in a completely different class of fighting games. SSBM is the top of it's class because I can't think of any that are in it's class of fighting game. SC2 is just good. I would think of it as the best in it's class, but seeing how there are so many there, I don't really know.
BTW SSBM and SC2 are great games. That would be cool if they were in SC3 or whatever the next ones called. My bet is on Lyn, Eliwood (fencing is very easy to put into a game like SC, just look at Rapheal), and Hector (probably will be very strong and have moderate speed).

Yeah, it's too bad they made Raph suck as much as he does. They did a great job of translating the fighting style in to the game. Which isn't to say I don't play as him anyway...

I don't think FE characters in SC is good because of SC is really dark in the story.....
The best way would be a mix between SSBM and SC, because of SSBM is better in the concept, but the FE theme require a more technical fighting game, a bit like SC......

A bit too dark? I think FE is REALLY dark, and if they can put Link in SC, it should be no problem sneaking in Lyn or Eliwood. As for Virtua Fighter, I thinks it's good, not Soul Calibur good. I mean, VF 4 was the good one, but Soul Blade, Soul Calibur and SOul Calibur 2 were all ahead of their times, an just friggin awsome!

I want to use Fa in soul calibur. It's just funny to blow people up as a cute innocent little girl.

SCII and VF4 aren't really even in the same class as each other. One's a weapons-based fighting game and the other is a fighting-game, respectively. SSBM is in a class all it's own.
