I was just wondering how many people have played through without a tactician? I'm doing that in my current game... For those that haven't, not much is different, really. The tactician gets cut from all cutscenes... Lyn calls out to 'Mark' if she dies (because that's the default tactician name). ...the only bad things are that you don't get any of the supposed bonuses that the tactician gives to characters of his/her element... and you don't get Afa's Drops. That was annoying... I just want to see the ending. Do Eliwood/Hector still do their talk to you?

no ending talk with *you* Ah, I see what you mean. But wait... that means there's probably an opposite to that for the other path... and different talks for every marraige... Oh, god. It'll be years before I've seen every ending...

I always play with a tactician. Why? Because I can give a name to myself that might make some of the things someone says look stupid and idiotic. Other than laughs though, I have the traditional names too.
It seems Nintendo has a fetish with the name Mark though...
