You know, this is exactly the thing that happens in real-life wars every day.
Fire Emblem imitates real life. The majority of people fighting in wars are innocents who don't have a choice about whether or not to fight. Does this make the soldiers on either side evil? No, they're helpless innocents caught up in the will of those with the power in the world.
I suppose some of the bandits truly did have no other choice. But then again, if you look at some of Dorcas' supports, you find he's a good artist. He could have sold his paintings, made less money, but still would have done the morally correct thing. *shrugs* Maybe it would have taken longer for him to get Natalie the medicine, but at least he wouldn't be taking the lives of others. It's a hard call.
I get the impression Hector enjoys FIGHTING, not killing. Testing his strength against others, yes. Finishing them off, most likely not.

Sorry, not really sure what you're getting at... It means this: Humans make mistakes. To forgive them when they do is one of the greatest virtues. Changed my avatar to avoid confusion... Excuse that. I thought you were someone else.#nosmileys

Raven. One of the coolest characters with Rath, Lloyd and Jaffar. Nino's too cute to be there ^_^

By the way, what's chapter 32 again hector?
I don't believe I've gone to 32X before, so I'm wondering why i'd miss it.
It is the one with Limstella where you get the Fimbulvetr? Because those reinforcements are really good to level nino at When turn 20 comes along. I hope It's a diff chapter...

Also, the end of Lyn's tale talks about how Dorcas found a living fighting local bandits. So there are jobs out there to protect others from evil; I guess Dorcas was too desperate to look hard enough the first time.

Once again Green Shy Guy I never called any of the chracters evil. You think too much in black and white to think about other colors on the spectrun. I say something about a chracter and you automatically say I said they're evil. Most things can't be defined as striaght up good or evil espcially people.
One more thing it seems Hector has no problem with the finishing move as in most cases he is hasty to deliver it just read his conversations with the bosses or chracters you can make swich sides.

You know, with all of this moral fighting, it is really a choice of opinion and tolerance.
Some think nothing makes up for a bad deed, and others think that things are forgivable.
Also, some think war is an excuse, while others think that it is murder all the same.
And while...*Continues to rant on.*

I never said every character was either black or white. I just said I think the main characters have good motives.

Just wanna say one thing: in a real war, the pace is very fast, not as leisurely as it is in a turn-based game. You really dont have the time to figure out the life story of the guy you are fighting against.

Knowledge is not limited to direct experience. Unless you are somwhere in your late 50s or older, I dont suppose you have any direct experience with WWII. That doesn't mean you cant know about the war.

Arf they could still use magic if they didn't kill Kishuna. All they have to do is leave the anti-magic field. They were in his home uninvited.
All I was saying is it seems the main chracters are more dangerous and cause more harm than Kishuna ever could. It isn't his fault he has that magic field.

That doesn't mean you cant know about the war. Well, I was talking about war in general, not WWII specifically. And yes, I have expierence with war, thank you. KGaw, I believe the magic field extends to the same distance that a bolting spell would.
