Liu Bei's 11 weapon was a bitch to get. But I eventually got it through the ai-reset trick. Still can't get Lu Bu's 11th.

I was looking at the FAQ and said something about Lu Bu's 11th. My boyfriend went "oh, that's easy, I can do that!"

He died with about 250 kills. XD

I would first like to say... I hate Xtreme Mode >.<

I tried Lu Bu's lv11 weapon... and all I have to say is... ARGH!!!!!!! I could get almost enough "K.O.s", but Liu Bei, Guan Yu, and Zhang Fei are always pestering me >.< Is there any way to get them off me? I suppose two people might work... you know, one kill and one distract, but isn't there a way I can do it myself!?

EDIT: ^ Nevermind about that... that plan worked =) I was Lu Bu and I had a friend be Jiang Wei. Near the time the 3 Brothers came by, we switched. We killed off Zhang Fei and Liu Bei, and I (as Jiang Wei) lured Guan Yu (while he was still on Red Hare) to Hu Lao Gate, where I sat in a corner and blocked while my friend got the 2000 "K.O.s". After a looooong time... we finally got the weapon =)

Sorry for the double post... I'm sure people are getting sick of this topic, but what can I say? ; )

Using the allmighty AI Reset Trick (I can't help it... I can handle Hard fine, but Expert is just... too difficult >.<;;), I was able to get everybody's level 11 weapons except Zhang Fei's, Xiahou Yuan's, Xu Huang's, and Ma Chao's. I know for the first three I'm gonna need help... I suck at defending areas (especially with people like Zhang Fei and Xiahou Yuan @_@) and I can't destroy the siege equipment fast enough. I figured I might need help with Ma Chao's too... you know, have another person go in and steal all the 2nd place general's "KOs".

And I finally got the hang of Xtreme Mode. =) One time when I was going through it with Lu Bu, I established the kingdom of Luo Yang! XD Another time with Lu Bu, I got Diao Chan and Zhang Liao on my side! Now if only I could've combined the two together...

Anybody that's played Xtreme Mode for a while... are there level 10 & 11 weapons within it? I kinda miss them, but yet I don't want to have to get them again. @_@

I haven't gone after any 11th weapons yet.

Of course, I haven't played 4XL in a while, because I decided I need to get everyone's Musou cleared in DW3, and that's been eating up my time. But last night a friend and I sat down and played through fifteen Legends stages I hadn't bothered with yet.

I also finally found a level 4 Vorpal Orb. ^o^

Congrats! =) I actually found my Lv4 Vorpal Orb some time ago... come to think of it, I think 4 of the 6 of my Orbs are Lv4 o_o;;

I also need to finish up DW3 sometime... but I sent it off with my friend when he went down to Texas. For some reason, when I got into DW4... I couldn't go back to 3. =\

I'm still working on Xtreme Mode. I have Zhao Yun almost fully built up... I just need a few more points and a few more Dim Sums. I was able to get Ma Chao, Huang Zhong, and Liu Bei on my team before I exited (the Meat Buns were too expensive o_o;;).

Good luck on the lv11 Weapons if you go for them, Iris. With the AI Reset Trick, most of them are pretty easy... but some are rather annoying, and others I find impossible unless I have two people (like the four I still need, Lu Bu's, and Jiang Wei's).

It's BOTH! XD

First, it's cool since... well, it's gotta be one of the greatest Action games of all time. =D There's 42 characters I think, and most of them are different in their own way (even though some of the sword-users are similar =P). If you're dedicated like me... DW4 can keep you busy for months. It's also a fun 2-Player game. =D Plus, since it takes place during the Three Kingdoms era of China, you can learn something (the whole era is pretty interesting).

AND it's popular! People probably like it for different reasons, but the ones I listed above are probably some of the top reasons. Usually when a new DW game is out, it appears on the top 10 PS2 list on GameFAQs and stays there for weeks (sometimes it even jumps to #1 =O).

When I'm done posting, I'll probably go back to Xtreme Mode with Zhang Fei... =P
