Hi everybody ! For the "Weapons" section of my site, and for my personal knowledge, I need help. I'm wondering what are the effects of the magical swords (Fire Sword, Wind Sword, Thunder Sword, Light Sword)... I know that Wind and Thunder Swords give +2 Magic pts, but is there this effect on the 2 other swords, and is there another effect than that (except, of course, the ability to cast elemental magic from distance) ? Thank you very much !

I don't think that's correct. I'm pretty certain that Fire Sword gives +5 Magic, Thunder Sword gives +5 Skill, and Wind Sword gives +5 Speed.

Um Ace hate to break it to you....
But the elemental weapons only gave you a boost in FE5, they don't exist in FE4.
In FE5 the elemental weapons boosts were as follows...
-Wind Sword +5 Speed -Fire Sword +5 Magic -Thunder Sword +5 Skill -Light Sword +10 Luck

I dunno . . . I'm pretty sure they give you those boosts. They just don't show up, like the +5 Skill from the Silver Sword or Silver Lance.

Don't excuse yourself Seti, when I have to be corrected, I accept it without moaning I'm maybe still a newbie in this game (2 games and a half, that's not enough), but not a n00b And I created this topic for knowing what are really the effects, so that's okay So, I think I'm mistaken, when I calculated Fee's magical strength (with Thunder Sword) against Danan last time... Oh well. There's boost effects on Silver Sword and Spear I really didn't knew that before ! That's very nice saying this info, it will help me ! By the way, is there other weapons which gives stats boosts (except the Legendary Weapons, of course ) ? A big thanks for the elemental swords' info !!

I'm pretty sure if a weapon gives boosts then it will show up in FE4 since they have the +10 and +5 from the rings. Those numbers aren't invisible. Are you positive about the sliver weapon Llama King?

I'm relatively certain. It's possible that I'm wrong, but I don't think so.
Yes, there's one more. The Defense Sword. It gives a +7 to DEF. Yeah, +7. You get it in Chapter 4 (Silesia) by having Sylvia go to a certain village.

I'm pretty sure that if you do get a boost it does show up and that Silver weapons don't give you it.....but then again Silver Weapons did have only 75 accuracy in FE5 but hit way more than that so its a possibility. But I highly doubt it since Thunder Sword gives you a skill bonus and shows it.
And I forgot about the Defense Sword in FE4 since I rarely get it, also you had some weapons in FE5 which gave you extra skills, -Mareeta no Tsurugi +Awareness -Ouja no Tsurugi +Charisma and also Hero weapon effect -Beo no Tsurugi +Wrath -Also Elite Sword WAS the defense sword in FE5 it gave you +5 defense and also +Elite -Blagi no Tsurugi was quite essentially a pumped up Prayer Sword.
Thats just the few I can think of the top of my head....

The Blagi Sword is like a Armor Cutter fused together with Prayer Sword. What's funny is that the sword can be used by ANYONE who's Holy Bloodline belonging to one of the sword users... Yet for some reason Marreta and Galzus can't use it. Leaf can because he's Baldo. Nana, and Delmud can because they're Hezul... I recall Felgus can use it too... but the question is, which holy sword user is he related to? Beowulf has no holy blood.

Felgus sure is a man of mystery...... He can use Blaggi no Tsurugi AND also use Beo No Ken. But as mentioned Beowulf didn't have any Holy Blood so the only other alternative would be Lachesis but it wouldn't make much sense maybe Finn x Lachesis?.

By the way, there's something I remind... Recently, I read again (for fun) VGAP's FAQ at GameFAQs, and at the Weapons' sections, there was a Barrier Sword. The Barrier Sword has the same effect than Defense Sword, but the 7 bouns-pts are at MDEF... BUT, I don't know where in the game this damn sword is !!!! (and to think I played this game 2 times already...) Someone knows its location ?

It's one of those deleted items, IIRC.
If so....one word : cheat.
If not....then it's probably something you can only access with the substitute characters.

Theres tons of deleted items like Silence Sword, Aura in FE5, Barrier Sword is most likely another one of them.
