That's it? I'm there already! I havent yet used all my stat-enhancing items.
(Is there a Use funtion in the prep screen like in FE7 or do I have to do it during battle? Which would be hard, there being 100 and some odd of them.
Even worse, I'm not getting Karel...Oh woe.

Most of the menu screens(if not all of them) function exactly like in Rekka no Ken.

Oh yeah you cannot use items in Party Management screen, unlike in Rekka no Ken you have to be on the field to use them.. Sucks huh? However cool thing in Fuuin no Tsurugi is the shop before the battle starts I love that, I dont know why they took it out...

I rarely use the store there anyway, since everything is 1.5x more expensive. But sell for the same price.
I'd rather have a Use.
Hm, well if this is my last level, I'd better take my Legendary Weapons. And as many Stat-enhancers as I can.

Well the shops in FE6 are alot more useful if you arena abuse, since you can buy stat ups to help max your characters stats.

That supply shop only appears in normal mode, but it is useful since I can get some basic weapons for my newly promoted units like Iron Swords for Falcoknights.

Yeah Seti I knew that, but I was going off of his posts. If you noticed it seems this is his first time through, therefore Hard mode couldn't be unlocked, so I gave him some first time through advice.

I was actually referring to the why Rekka no Ken doesn't have it bit. It was added in to make your life slightly easier in FE6 so it wouldn't be unusual to get rid of it in FE7....
Besides FE6 hard mode was harder mainly because at least in FE7 you could still sell items, you couldn't sell it in FE6 hard mode out of battle it was less convenient.

Yeah another reason why Hard mode is easier in FE7 is because you can still abuse the arena with the help of Ninian's rings. In FE6 you couldn't and the enemies are so insanely strong in the arena in Hard mode that it becomes almost impossible to arena abuse.

Don't forget in most hard mode arena chapters you had insanely strong reinforcements...
Like Ch-7 you had that Social Knight with a Silver Spear coming every 2-3 turns. Ch-11 Lalam route you had the Paladin boss with all those insanely strong Kill Spear Social Knights.
The only safe arena chapter was Ch-17 Ilia route but by then it was sorta pointless to arena abuse.

I remember that.. It really actually forces you to seize the throne as fast as you can.. Not to mention in Chapter 7 you have to hurry to recruit Treck, and Noah before they die. Hard mode enemy stat ups, I actually had a Hard time with FE6 Hard mode for awhile. I had a hard time leveling up my units, and with the trumped exp you get I couldn't level Roy up all the way. Least he gets the Fuuin no Tsurugi, which helps alot.
Eliwood hard mode was pretty simple, but Hectors gave a Ok challenge. Nothing like FE6 though.

Hector Hard mode only just threw stronger and more enemies at you.
FE6's hard mode actually changed the strategy the CPU took and also the reinforcements and priorities. Reason why I appreciate FE6 more, plus you ever noticed its incredibly hard to max out people at level 20 in FE6? Wheras in FE7 you could get people maxed at level 20 eaisly by Final Chapter wihtout arenas.

FE6 Hard mode enemies seemed to take more of a chess like strategy on you, where they seemed to go after Roy alot more often. It got kind of annoying after awhile because with the pitiful exp I was getting it was difficult to level him up enough to where he became strong enough to handle himself.
Yeah I take that back I didn't really have a difficult time with Hector Hard mode, I just thought it was more difficult then Eliwood hard. The AI didn't seem to evolve in Rekka no Ken, they made the same stupid mistakes, and the bosses didn't recieve to much of a stat boost, or weapon change. Unlike in FE6
