I did actually notice that, they constantly go after Roy and those around him in Hard mode and always pick off the weakest members.
In Hard mode FE7 you could have a guy with 1HP and 90 chance of being finished stick a theif in and they go after the theif.
And the FE6 boss boosts were brutal, especially Ch-8G's boss....msot of your characters aren't even anywhere near his level of strength. Same with the Nomadic Trooper boss.

Yeah I thought the Berserker boss in Chapter 9 Hard recieved some pretty insane stat boosts. Plus it doesn't help that he has a Killer Axe, already boost to critical and alot more Skill then usuall. Plus the same old "rubber band AI" applies when they decide to activate a critical hit when they only have 35-40% chance to hit in the first place...
That chapter is also just hard to begin with...With the fog and all the enemy reinforcments....

I'm okay with that chapter it makes for some good leveling....with all the Bandits and Pirates.
But the boss is tough and fog of war doesn't help much

Yeah but it was annoying recruiting Fir, Shin, and preventing those Bandits from destroying the villages...
Also Seti do you remember Hard mode Zephyr's stat boosts? I know his stats suck in normal as they are all like low 20s..I have the cart and on my latest Hard mode game I'm only on speak of the devil chapter 9 =P.

Yeah it's cool, I doubt they were that significant anyway, because he wasn't as hard as some other bosses. I think Idenn should've had indirect attack in Hard mode, that would have added a unique twist =P.
Would still pretty easy with Fuuin no Tsurugi though...

Idoun at least had 2 spearate animations and 4 if you count criticals.

Yeah I liked Idoun's Dragon sprite it seemed like it was well designed, and the criticals look pretty cool. Dragon from FE7 on the other hand was just plain, and there wasn't anything special about it..Except maybe the backgrounds...
Both last bosses were extremely easy...

I don't know but I must really suck at these games... I found it really hard to level my guys up to max in Eliwoods hard mode without some serious weapon breaking bosses. I only got a C in the end. Not like i care.
My brother played Hector's hard mode and gave up. (Sure it didn't help that he sold his lockpicks and then didn't restart.)
But yeah, I found FE6 more difficult. Sure I abused the arena. I did noticed that they don't throw so many reinforcments at you.
But there's more vareity in FE7, for instance not all levels are 'Seize Something'
What am I getting at? I like Fire Emblem and I find both games have ups and downs. Hard to compare in my mind.
