Yes, yes, you don't like Levin/Sety/Levin and Fury/Silesia/whatever the heck your problem is. We get the idea already. It's just Fury and Sety I dislike. I like Silesia and Levin. And Holsety's cool!!! I just need to change and start using Narga more. |

The following Holy Weapons are missing:
Torhammer (Ishtar's weapon)
Falaflame (Alvis's weapon)
Mistortin/Mistolteen (Eltoshan/Ares's weapon)
Swachinka (?'s weapon)
Gungnir (Torabant/Arion's weapon)
Off of that list though,I voted Narga,the most powerful spell in all of FE!

Gunguneel is the worst in there. Worst than Geiborg.
It's GUNGNIR.
Yes, the Japanese spell the NORSE GUNGNIR AS GUNGUNEEL. I've seen it everywhere. The Japanese spellings are screwy for the unwary. Mjolnir is Myoniiru. Bwah ha ha. And Norns? Norun. I've seen some hapless translators translate them as Norunes.
And Seti-san....there is nothing wrong with translating Geiborugu to Gae Bolg. It's perfectly legit. And it seems right, too. (Sure, Lenster isn't Leinster, but it's pretty damn close enough)
Dunno about what looks good.....what is the correct reference looks good to me. Except Ares, because I HATE the god Ares. He's one of the most stupid, stuck-up deities ever created, and Aless just isn't stupid.
....

That's not exactly right. The Japanese translation of Gaebolg is absolutely correct under the Japanese language. It's just bad when you try to double translate to English from the Japanese translation.
The katakana spelling can be translated as Gaebolg, but it can also be translated as Geiborg, Gheiborg, Geibolg, Geiburg, Gheibolg, Geibulg, Gheibulg, Gheiburg, Gayborg, Gaybolg, Gaybulg, Gheybolg, Gheyburg, Gheyborg, Gheybulg, Gayeborg, Gayeburg, Gayebolg, Gayebulg, Gaeborg and Gaebulg. Feel free to complete this list, I'm sure there are at least 15 more ways.

Holsety, Falaflame, Torhammer, Tyrfing, Misteltein, Lopotous and Gungnir All the others are good except for Narga which gets the ridiculous stat bonuses only to compensate for Yuria's crappy stats which was overlookable but also negated Lopotous's effect ruining a really intense boss battle. Plus the stupidity of having Narga for only about 2-3 turns is really undescribable. |

After all, by defending myself, I knew that she would defend herself too (a part of this due to Cuan fanboyism, ne ? ^^ and also for mythology references, which, I can't deny it, is extremely important in FE4...), but I'd never imagined you'll react too, Summie... 'Kay, for Gunguneel, I have to admit that, unlike Geiborg, isn't the best spelling ever... That's because I'm a bit used to Boo's patch. I'll try to correct myself for Gungnir's spelling. But I don't understand... Why are you so bothered with spellings ? As for me, even though there's some spellings for names I don't like (for example, Seti's one for Mistoltin), as long as I can understand, they don't bother me... This, as long as they're not extremely out of place. If you want to blame someone for spellings, blame the makers of the game, for not giving enough official romaji names (unlike other games like Star Ocean The Second Story). |
