Who what are your favorite Holy Weapons?
Mine has to be Holsety, because Levin or Sety attack 2-4 times with it.

Tron isn't the Tordo holy weapon, actually...Thor Hammer is.
I voted Gae Bolg (I prefer the mythological spelling, thanks), but as a loyal Lenster fangirl, what else did you expect?

Holsety... it has the potential for mass destruction.
Fin doesn't have the Gae Borg in 776.. he has the Hero Spear from Cuan in Seisen.

Tylfing all the way. With the insane MDEF bonus, and the little bonuses on Skill and Speed, Celice is a GOD, no less. We're talking Mage-mower (and other troops too, even Yurius !) unit here... ^^ Second goes to Mistoltin (gotta love Ares with 30 MDEF points, and the Hit % is just a little bit lower than Shannan w/Balmunk and Holsety users...). THEN, third goes to Holsety  By the way, sorry Iris, but Geiborg is my least favourite Holy Weapon... Too heavy for the bonuses it gives. I prefer Gunguneel (just like the Geiborg, but with a compensating Speed bonus instead of Skill), and Swanchika (Insane Def and MDef compensate well the evade penalty + there the possibility of throwing it) any day. |

Sorry, but I like this spelling better. It's also nearer from katakana's transcription of the weapon. Although I don't mind Gae Borg, to tell you the truth that's a nice spelling...
But I like Geiborg better. Dunno why, but for me, this spelling gives the weapon an impression of great strength.

Katakana transcription of a lot of things is pure crap, because Japanese lacks the syllables to express a lot of things properly.
I hate the Geiborg spelling because it's such an obvious mythological reference to Gae Bolg. Everything in Lenster is tied up to Irish mythology. And given the overwhelming parallels between Cuan and Cuchulainn, I think the only logical conclusion is that Geiborg is a bad Japanese corruption of Gae Bolg. =P
It's also the reason I hate seeing Ethlinn spelled as Ethrin.
