Does support effect the Link Arena? One would think it does, but I can't be sure. And speaking of the Link Arena, does the triangle attack work there if you have the three sisters on your team? I don't have all three in this playthrough yet, but I'm just curious.

I'm still not sure how this works exactly. I'm trying to get lyn and hector to A but I dont get an option for support. How long do I have to leave them next to eachother before I get the option?

It's not as long as with a one-point-per-turn like Serra...... 80 turns for each support convo !!!   |

can someone post eliwood and ninian's level A support conversation and what happens when ninian and nils go into the dragons gate when you get the level A support

To sum it up (OMFG SPOILARZ):
Eliwood says he loves her, never felt this way before, blah blah. That's the jist of it.
Also, after Eliwood goes on the Durandal quest, there's a line or two that's different in the scene with Ninian, and a different song plays - sorta a variation of Ninian and Nils' theme.
In the end, Eliwood says goodbyes to Ninian and Nils as usual, but when they prepare to go through the gate Nils more or less tells her to stay and be with Eliwood. He says he wants to live long and goes through the gate while Ninian (I assume) weeps. Ninian and Eliwood marry, you know the rest.

I am having the problem that support levels seem... seem
to be only rising by one level per battle.
Is there a way around this once per battle rise?

I see that page 2 says "once."
I do. I see it.
However, upon examining the game screen I see
that some recently-gained support levels flash green,
while other recently-gained support level ranks do not.
Why is there this disparity?

If it's green, it means that the character reached maxed support with that person. It has nothing to do with being recent. =P

It has nothing to do with being recent. =P Okay, chuckles... slide the tongue back in because you are not only wrong... but you are easily proven wrong. In "extras" it will show that Oswin can get C,B, and A rank support conversations for Hector, Serra, Matthew, Priscilla, and Dorcas. In battle (first arena, first appearance Dart) the rank of C flashes green for every support on Oswin. It flashes whether he is standing next to or away from the characters. Conversely, Matthew's C rank support with Oswin does not flash green. I am trying to specifically isolate ceratin conditions that might allow for looping around the "once per battle" limit. Do not guess if you do not know. I forgive you for being impetuous (and wrong). |

If it flashes C, maybe he's maxed out his support conversations? You can only have five total, you know. If Oswin has had five total conversations and Matthew hasn't, that's why. So no, I'm not wrong. If Oswin's are all green, and the names in his support list are green, it means HE CAN'T GAIN ANY MORE SUPPORTS.
There's no way you can have more than one support conversation per pair per chapter. You can build more points, but the earliest you'll get the next convo is in the next chapter. That's all there is to it. Characters can have more than one conversation per battle, but all with different people. Lyn has talked to Rath, Hector and Florina in the same chapter.
I am not guessing. I beat the game five times. Don't be so hasty to jump up and proclaim I'm wrong next time. =P
