when your at a chapter where you can let the pair just sit there (no side quest, time limit, etc), you should just let the support pairs sit there for a long time (80 turns after their support) so that right away they can support again next chapter.

You're an idiot. You can only get 5 supports for each character in one playthrough. If it flashes green, that means you maxed out your supports for that playthrough for that character and will not be able to get anymore. Each C, B, or A support counts as one support. So you can get one A support and one B support, or one A support, and two C supports, or two B supports, and one C support, or one B support and three C supports, or 5 C supports. That's it.

Furthermore, you can only get one support between the same two characters in each chapter. That's it. There's no "looping around the once per battle" shit or whatever the fuck you said.

If you just sit and have characters wait until they get a support, won't that completely obliterate your tactics ranking? I guess it's not big deal, because after you archive all the supports in extras, then you could shoot for the perfect five star game.
