Have all of your strongest characters (don't forget the lords rush in, you should be able to kill it in one turn depending on your level. A 20/20 hector with Almace or the Dragon Axe can do around 2 hits of 25 damage each. Eliwood at the same level with Durandal can do around 2 hits of 20 each. Athos can do 20 with Areola (I know that is spelled wrong). Canas with luna does something like 25 to the dragon.

Raven and Dart at 20/20 make it real fast. Give Dart a Brave Axe and he's liable to critical at least once. After those two, Hector could probably pop him in one hit.
Oh, yeah, if you want to make it even faster, Canas with Luna is a no-brainer.

This time around my Hector would have gotten Twice Attacked.....and Athos was my only unit who couldve weilded a Physic Staff Kuz Pent...Jes flew away........so I had Canas jes go and Luna him........4 hits.......the last one was Critical....or 3 hits the last one was Critical..........wut ever.......I killed it with Canas.....then lyn and Hector were like: Eliwood!! r u ok?

20/20 Canas with Luna. 29x2 damage. Sing with Nils. Heal him up. 29x2 damage again. Finish off with anyone.

Unless he has supports, but that's only going to give him at most 5 damage. But with a brave axe, his critical chance isn't going to be high enough anyway, unless you got awesome luck gains. |

Let me take that back, with Filla's might and supports, it might be worth it to use a brave axe if you're hoping for a critical. But unless your Dart has really good luck, you're going to get more damage just by popping on basilikos. It does more damage in one swing than the brave axe does in two.

I was extremely lazy... since I knew my GBA was evil and was doing odd stuff like missing at 90% and getting hit at 10%...
I had Athos attack (this was the only time I used him for attacking cause I had no intention of wasting experience on him) then get Priscilla heal him twice with the psychic wand, or use the recover wand and then have her retreat. Everyone else stayed put, except Nils, who moved to allow Priscilla to go twice. After the dragon reached 40 HP, Hector took a hit, and ya.. Hector hurt him quite bad... so bad anyone could kill the dragon after that....
oh ya... and my GBA of course in a last ditch effort at evilness the batteries died on the final attack... I think Nergal possessed my GBA.... its been pure evil ever since..

when I fought him in Hard Mode I had an accident with Hector, I accidently had Oswin rescue him. So then Dart started shaking in his boots cause he knows hes up next because of that. He did awesome, he does 12 damage and attacks twice with pretty high critical rate. But unfortunaly he didn't pull off a critical. In the end he pulled off the finishing blow.
I've seen a friggin 97% hit rate friggin miss. The game's RNG went that bad.......

I used this formation

everyone except Athos attack with the weapons listed above, have Athos equip Luna if he is attacked and use Fortify, repeat until dragon is dead (2 turns at most)

I've seen a friggin 97% hit rate friggin miss. The game's RNG went that bad....... Pfft,that's nothing,I still have my old savestate on FE5 where I missed on 99 Hit,then got criticaled when the enemy had 1 Hit. |
