what i did in my last game, was level hector up to 20/20 and then attacked with armads, and it did like 26 x2 lol so it was all good

On my first time through I did something similar to Saku, except with Serra and I didn't have Hector or anyone else mess with the thing. I also had Lucius and Canas healing Dart since he was the continous target of Purge and Bolting.

dude....give that job to Erk and Pent, cuz the three lords with their legendary weapons and Athos with Forblaze, Lucius and Canas can lend a hand with Aureola and Luna

even I did it the way I said on my first playthrough, and this was the first time I've ever played FE

It's buried in the sand around some bones. Have a thief wait on every space next to a bone.

On my first playthrough, I just took the easy way out and had Athos stand there. Dragon would attack and get hit by Aureola. Priscilla heals Athos and then retreats via Nils.
On my second playthrough, I had access to a Fortify staff, so I was able to play a bit more dangerously. Eliwood/Durandal and Lucius/Aureola stood next to the dragon. Whichever one the dragon didn't attack, I would attack with, then I'd fortify both of them. Repeat.

Mine was pretty simple With a 20/20 Hector in my first Hector's mode, I hit the dragon for 2 hits, doing 29 and 87 respectively with a hit and a crit. That finished it in one blow Second game, I got bored and used Canas, who Lunad him with a crit and a normal, doing 84 and 28 and killed the dragon, again. It was pretty simple for me. And i like having the thing where you check your unit statuses for everyone, and when you scroll down, you see ALL 20s. fun  |

Even if you don't severe arena abuse, I find that Athos, Canas, Eliwood, and Hector, leveled up decently, about 20/10 each (cept for athos) can whup arse on the dragon in one turn. If they can't, use nils, play for somebody to get the finishing blow, and if they don't have the damage to do that, add Lyn with Sol Katti and another light magic user with Aureola to your arsenal. Shouldn't take THAT much work though.

I don't remember the EXACT details, but for me, all it took was a 20/20 Canas, Hector (with four maxed stats ^_^), and Athos to finish the dragon in one turn. Canas had Luna (love that book), Hector had Armads, and Athos...uh...had Forblaze, I think. Good thing I didn't take more than that, because even WITH my Fortify Staff, I still probably would've been hurting. ^^;;

I had Athos attack first, then had 20/20 Canas attack with Luna. I didn't need anything after that; TWO CRITICALS! That just made my jaw drop.

man, I never get anyone to 20/20 by then (cept Athos)
it takes me one turn to kill it
Hector with Armads, Lyn with Sol Katti, Eliwood with Durandal, Athos with Forblaze, Canas with Luna, and Lucius with Aureola
I know thats a lot, but I never seem to get lucky with criticals

teh game is to easy to beat using the three main character in my first time plyaing, so i just use side characters to beat the dragon and believe me, it was tough!
i had nino use excalibur, bartre use silver axe, guy use regal blade and had some people heal them up.
took me a long time, but i still killed it
