Best way to kill dragon?

What do you guys think the best way to kill the Dragon at the end of the game is? Do assasins OHKOs work on them?

They work, but it's a very very small chance. You will have to use support ot raise that chance

Anyway, max speed Athos or Canas would pnw the dragon.

The best way is a Critical with Luna and Athos or Canas if he's very strong, use Thor's ring if you're not sure..... After that and if the dragon is not dead already, finish him become easy with Eliwod and Hector's Divine Weapons......

If you want the long way, you can use only one guy attacking the dragon and heal him from distance each turn, the dragon doesn't recovery his Hp....

And in another way, you can use Athos/Eliwod/Hector with Divine Weapons but only if you can have 3 healers who have more than 37 Hp for the Dragon turn..... Of if you can hit the Dragon with another guy and one weapon you get before with Nergal's morphs, it's better.....

Actually you CAN NOT 1 hit KO the dragon. What you can do is pump Athos' magic up with a Filla's might and equip him with Lunar. Athos can kill the dragon with 1 hit.

I didn't have a luna so I just surounded the dragon with athos, mathew(super beefed up version), hector and Lyn(eliwood sucks and lyns critical with the sol kati did 27 dmg). Then I kept two healers and a rescuer nearby. I would use end turn and the dragon would attack athos everytime and athos would get off 20 dmg to the drag every time the drag attacked him. Then I would retreat athos to heal him and the dragon would attack lyn or hector and they would get of some damage against the dragon aswell. Then I would take athos back to his position and end again. And by then the dragon was low enough that I could just have everyone attack once to kill it.

I think some chars like Erk, Nino, Pent, Canas and Lucius are pretty usefull as healers at this moment because you can heal guys who surrounded the dragon without being worried about it to kill them if they've more than 37 Hp.....

I used Guy with 60 HP,a Regal Blade,Filla's Might,and Athos with Physic. I managed to get Nils to bless Guy every turn by using Rescue Relay.

Canas with Luna, as well as Florina with a Rex Hasta did really well for me- I had two people healing them at a distance. Hector came in and finished him off with Armads... Just use the strongest characters you have with 37 HP or higher, and try and have someone with either a rescue staff or a staff that can heal long distance. Legendary items are a big, big plus.

Hmm what interesting measures everyone seems to take. Long-winded but interesting.
Heres the simple way:
Divine general Weapons (and the Sol Kati *shudder in all 3-9 of its worthlessness*).
Gaurenteed dead dragon in 3 turns (thats just athos using Aureola!). Add Eliwood, Hector and Lyn and it should be over in 1-2 turns.
Use a Fortify Staff and use Nils to Fortify again (Unless you have a mage with 27 magic or above)
Slight Change: If you don't think killing it in one turn is fast enough give Lucius Aureola and Have athos use Forblaze. You should do a BIT more.

After reading all those stratagies involving Luna and Nils Bossting things I was very confused. Divine Gemeral weapons just seemed Blindingly obvious to me. Unless you are completely Oblivious to the Story you would know they were weapons used to KILL Dragons.

We are trying to one such Dragon. Therefore it seems obvious that you use the weapons designed to kill Dragons!

Easy way for me Use thors ire on dart take out his brave silver or killer axe and hope he gets a critical. Brave worked best because even with no critical he still got at least two attacks

Divine weapons are so mehish. None of them do as much damage as Luna itself, but I hear armads two hits the dragon, which is nice. Luna does more damage with athos than aureola and forblaze. A free 30 damage a turn gets you through the final chapter pretty quickly and also the dragon. If you used Marcus all game long, gotta rely on athos here to pretty much win for you. Using luna there really does feel like cheating.

The simple strategy is fortify/Physic and use one guy to with over 37 HP to pwn. This person should probably do 20+ damage a turn if you don't want to be there all night. Legendary weapons work, especially with two hit. Will work 100% of the time unless the dragon criticals.

The boss isn't really that hard, you just can't underestimate him. Remember, more than 37 HP or out of range on the dragon's turn, otherwise, bye-bye character.

Filla's might, Luna, Legendary weapons, pretty sure way of getting things done. Triangle attack is also very nice w/ the might, Criticaling, but does so little damage w/o it.

If you are pro, you will get teh easy kill off Athos Criticaling the dragon. ^^

Hit only once..then stay back and Counter attack

when the dragon is abt t odie attack him with Both Eliwood and Hector

Priscilla - Fortify staff (Hec's route only gets you a second one)

Canas (20/20) can attack twice on the dragon /w Luna, and usually critical hitting. Give him Fialla's might and you'll kill him in one turn.
