Mission 5 is hard. After I unlock the door to Evyal and Nanna, Leaf dies because he's too close to the door, or another character, even Dalshein, dies in one hit from an enemy attack. Anyone got tips?

Run like hell....
No seriously run like hell.... Its really an instinct thing, it becomes easy with practice theres not really a fullproof strategy as is the case with most of Thracia 776 which makes it so hard.

Do not open the door until after you defeated the Mage squad approaching you and the Soldiers and Armor in that area, and you should be fine.

You forgot to mention to hurry.
A Swordmaster with a Kill Sword and a Warrior with a Hero Axe eventually come out and seriously cause destruction on you after a few turns if you're not quick abotu opening that door.

Actually,it's a Berserker with a Killer Axe,which is even worse. I like to capture them though,it's fun to get early good equipment ;D

There aren't any Berzerkers in this game. You have to remember that whenever the door opens, Leaf will rush to to it no matter what. You should finish off as many enemies as possible before opening the door. Speed is the key to this chapter.

There ARE Berserkers in this game, but not very many. Mostly in 24G and 25 though, and only a handful in any other chapters.
How else could their direct-translated name be Basaka?

Hmm.....thats because Bezerkers are more or less Warriors in FE5. They were onyl clearly defined as different classes in FE6/7.

Hmm they look like Warriors to me. I never really paid attention to them anyway. I wish Marty became a Berzerker rather than a Warrior.

oopse forgot to say that Berserker really is more than just an axe-only-Warrior. those freaks have Wraith as their class skill. which affects crit as you already know. it's not a coincidence that IS leaves those guys out there for u to tackle near the end.
(on an interesting note, falcon knight in FE5 has prayer as their class skill)

I was wondering how those guys managed to critical Sety even though he had Holsety equipped. Luckily my Sety survived.
