Has anyone bothered to raise Marcus to lv. 20?

I never use Louise...I use Rebecca, it's such a pain in the beginning to level her up, but she's usually well worth it.

My 20/20 Kent was Great.

Same here. He was effective even if Light. Kent's only major downside appears to be luck. Maybe he's not as fast or as strong as everyone else, but his stats in those areas are more than sufficient for getting the job done.

There are good and bad Jeigans.... Marcus and Isadora are really bad, Renault sucks, Louise is so-so if you already have a sniper (Rebecca rulz !), Wallace is not good if you have promoted him in Lyn' story and Geitz is useless like Vaida, but Pent and Hawkeye are okay if you need a Sage/Berserker, same thing for Karel/Harken, they're not too bad, Karla too. And Jaffar is good if you forget tha assassin class. There are Jeigans and "Jeigans"

Promoted unit =/= Jeigan.

The definition of a Jeigan character is: pre-promoted unit, that comes with you from start, and has pitiful growth rates.

Karla, Karel, Harken, Pent... they're not Jeigan characters. I guess.

Marcus is the one true reincarnation of Jeigan.

Even though his growth rates don't match the greatness of the original (check back in the thread). =P

I don't think Pent, Louise, and Hawkeye are half bad. Hawkeye usually does some serious damage in my campaigns, although his growth rate is horrible. However, who needs grown rate when you have good strength, high critical, and over 50 HP?

Anyway, I forget what Kent's resistance was in my last campaign. I believe it was in the mid teens, around 14.

I always use Hawkeye for a bit until my other units are higher. I always use Pent as my main sage. Erk and Nino are both better in stats but it takes forever for them to use good staffs. Pents level in staffs is very helpful.
