Why is getting a character too early a bad thing? If you don't want him to hog EXP, then bench him and put someone else in, and save Kent for the tougher missions. Just like Oswin... |

marcus is a good char for noobs but if you relize the potential of taking to 20 then changing and seeing the stat diff betwen marcus and any other caviler-paladin its funny. and from what i have noticed kent is the best paladin, sain is teh strognest, and lowen is the second best he is not very power full. if you took lowen to 20 then changed him and then to 20 agiain and used all the power up item especcially the str up ones he is a forced to be reconed with .

I think I raised Marcus to level 12 or so when I was using him to kill everything while my other characters waited around and supported each other to raise my percentage.

You could say that about a lot of characters. Besides, if you have to use all your power up items on one characters to make him great, then he or she isn't that great in the first place.

Ooh, Marcus.
I may be a Marcusist, but that doesn't mean I raise him. XD I just shove him by Merlinus (when I actually bring him out) and leave him to rot. Though...when I lent my cart out to someone I knew, he raised Marcus all the way. Let's see...

Skill: 26 (max)
Speed: 17
Luck: 20
Def: 14
Res: 14
That's at 20/20. Eh...well, he's Marcus. He isn't exactly stellar...and I don't see why people bother with raising him to 20. :P

i use kent for my palladin i tried sain a few times and i hated him and when i used lowen he maxed str hp and def while my kent maxed str sped and skill ain only maxed str so i guess im sticking to kent and some times lowen oh and at least marcus is better than the jeigan wanna marcus from fe6(purple armor palladin class even crappier stats than this marcus)
any ways the only prepromos i use are karel/karla/fe 6 karel/percivel

Marcusism = my religion :3 Marcusism follower = Marcusist :P ...Eh. Out of my team, I only use ~5 of the units, and Marcus happens to be a space filler. besides, marcusxmerlinus = otpEh, my Sain turned out awesome. :P tank pls <3 As for my Bartre...ow, sux0r. Then again, the RNG hates me to the point where I have never, EVER gotten an above-average in stats Guy...which is pathetic. |

I got close my first time through. I managed to get Marcus to L18 by the final chapter. I never use him now, though, so it won't get any closer.
