Nice feedback, spammaster. thank u. I take pride in my work. Hawkeye is more balanced than Dart. Pent and Nino are the only Sages for me. The Only Anima Magic Users at all for me. I had same affinity Erk and he barely matched Pent. |

Marcus usually maxes speed, IIRC...he's not a bad character if you bench him for awhile. Kent is OK, but he saps a lot of XP once promoted (you get him too early, too). Sain too. Lowen is the MAN, let's get that out of the way now, he's Oswin on a horse...and Isadora isn't all that bad.
I arena whored all five paladins to max level as soon as I could, and deployed them all in the final battle. Is fun!

So Kent and Sain leech less xp than Marcus? Seriously, wait to promote them, and if they level faster, you can always bench them, which is easier when you have more people to substitute in.... |

I've never got Marcus a level. After my first time playing FE Monshou no Nazo I've learned not to trust old man Paladins you start with. =P But unlike Jeigen at least Marcus can gain some stats.

In the beginning, he's just perfect to guard Merlinus. =P
That's why I got him to level 3.

Yeah he is so perfect for Melinus guarding he even has support conversations with him =P. As for Jeigen I take his Silver Spear, and he is never heard from again =).

True that Marcus was a great guard early on but later on you have better guards and once Merlinus can move he wont need a guard. Though Marcus does come in handy early on if your poor since you can send him to the arena to gain tons of cash but I never did raise him past level 9....

He's one of the slowest characters in the whole game. The only characters slower than Marcus are Dorcas, Wallace (if force promoted in Lyn's route), and Hawkeye. |

Why is getting a character too early a bad thing? If you don't want him to hog EXP, then bench him and put someone else in, and save Kent for the tougher missions.
