Soul Calibur II is my absolute favorite fighting game so far. The American version gets Berserker, Lizardman, and Assasin as unlockable characters but the Jap version doesn't  . My best few characters are Raphael, Xhianghua, Nightmare, and Kilik. This game will definitly blow you away. |

just got it today....
if i knew EB normally put the new release games up on the shelf the day before it's official release....i would have gotten it yesterday...

I want the Xbox one, because I want to see Spawn in action.
But I only have PS2, so...Heihachi from Tekken, it is.
I've unlocked all weapons but the silly weapons...And unlocked everything for Kilik.
I usually use Kilik (Not anymore...), Ivy, Cervantes, Astaroth and Yoshimitsu...have been playing this for a week...
What I don't understand is...Cassandra's third costume is 70k, Sophitia's is 50k, while most of the other costumes are under 30k. Not that I can't afford them...but 70k for Cassandra? A (seemingly) clone of Sophitia?
The Soul Edge (Complete) is quite disappointing...but some of them look pretty cool. Not that I'd use any of them...
Exhibition Theater is cool, but...some of them are really too short, Necrid, Heihachi for instance... Kilik and Seung Mina use the exact same moves in Exhibition...geez. (Same for Mitsurugi and Yoshimitsu )

I want to get this game, but I'm going to wait for the price to drop. I've played the GCN version at my friend's house, and I have to say, Link rules! ^_^

Wouldn't it be cool if they made a special edition or something with Link, Heihachi, and Spawn all in the same game? Unfortunately for X-Box and PS2 users... it probably wouldn't be released on there unless Nintendo gave Namco rights to use Link for the other ports.
But it could easily be released on GCN... I mean, Namco made both Tekken AND Spawn games...
Oh well... maybe I'm too much of a dreamer...

I don't like to see Link in this fighting game anyway. Too many Sword/Rod/Shield fighters. What is on their minds, Sophitia, Cassandra...geez.
All I care about is Siegfried. (Not that I use him a lot now...but Siegfried, meh.)

SC2 is a fun game. Make sure you have skilled people to play against.

YAY! I got it! Kilik, Yun and Maxi are awesome!
On another messageboard I'm on, people have named Voldo the HumpMaster 3000. I can clearly see now why. Lol

The characters I dislike are Necrid , he's just plain cheesy, Charade as he should get a few unique moves at least, Yungsung because he's crap.

My best are Raphael and Nightmare. I wish I was good at Kilik, too. Voldo, on the other hand, gives me nightmares and I attack anyone who uses him viciously. Ivy annoys me as well...

I hate Voldo too >_<
He keeps moonwalking on the spot!
Plus he's a 60+ year old guy who runs around in a guy slave suit like some backwards crab thing.
But Yoshimitsu IS the funnest character to play with n_n
I love pogoing on his sword and flying around!

I was waiting for someone to say that. Everyone thinks he's crap. Don't know why, I like him. I hate Necrid too. I haven't even played as him yet. Big, cheap, insanely strong character's just don't do it for me.
